“Always helpful. I remember when I brought my son in once years ago and they let him weigh his pinewood derby car for boy scouts in the official scale. It's a small post office - you trade the long lines at the central office for short lines and the occasional lack of packing supplies. Can't have it all - sometimes its just what you need though.”

I do think the evolved future of the USPS is package delivery and getting things like groceries delivered. Forget paper mail--it's antiquated and frankly pointless, and replete with spam.
Hopefully they follow in the footsteps of companies like Amazon and develop drone and other delivery tech--so that they have a sustainable future in the modern world.”

“Public post office that offers all the typical services. This post office and its entrance are located on Main St (the Downtown Mall) which is closed to vehicles. You have to park nearby and walk over.
Best bets for parking: street parking on Market St (runs parallel to Main St), side streets off Market St or you can park in the Market St parking garage which is directly behind the post office.”
“I really had a wonderful experience sending my mom's package. Semonia was wonderful and provided excellent customer service!! She gave recommendations on what shipping rate to choose as well as what type of packaging to purchase for my things. She also gave me praises when i packaged and labeled everything correctly. I was dreading to go based on the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised! I went on a Saturday around 1230. They close at 2 pm on Saturdays.”

“I drive way out of my way to come to this branch anytime I need to visit a post office - the drive is really nice so it is no problem to make the time. The place is small and cheerful and the staff is upbeat and as helpful as can be. Shout out to Liz who has helped me several times! She is always friendly and efficient and clearly knows her stuff. This place reminds me of how things used to be in the ‘olden days’ before technology blew up and conducting your daily business became cold and impersonal. This little post office is a treasure and I hope it remains exactly like it is forever. Thanks for making a trip to the post office enjoyable, Earlysville PO!”
