I understand this business is for the local community up %90 but they must expect travelers.
After I paid I asked the cashier to give me the receipt, he said that can’t print and told you must tell before payment and I can pay or stop paying, he said I informed you! Anyway I didn’t hear it! While I’m leaving informed him this not professional, then he and the other lady start to yelling it’s professional, I got back and asked them either you give me the receipt or refund me or I will call the police, the lady said they laugh on you that you call the receipt, the man starts to shout go go and then the lady, I informed them either give me the receipt or refund, then he said I will call the police and started to call!!! Exciting!! They told the police will laugh on me and then they’re calling?!
Suddenly he started to shout at me what’s in your hand pointing to a ring in my right hand finger!! Looks like he wanted to say I have a harmful tool or weapon! I can’t imagine! Very small counter ring in the hand can be a weapon?!!!
Before the police arrived they fixed the printer problem and started the system which they said it’s down and can’t refund!!
Three officers arrived and they was very respectful simply they asked me what I wanted, I asked to refund.
They refunded upon the request of the officer.
I think when one of the cashier get in conflict with a customer the other need to cool down but the lady on the right side machine was more aggressive, I don’t mean the other lady who appeared later and did the refund.

The store is great when it’s open, but it’s very frustrating to get there and the store is closed. This has been the case several times I’ve stopped by during business hours the last couple of months.

Since the place got remodeled they been trash closed all the time parking lot looks trash they need old management back they had everything covered

This is the NICEST Dollar General I have ever been to! The items and products offered here are more on the level of Walmart and even HomeGoods stores! I wanted to keep this store as my hidden gem, but I know I can't keep it afloat alone. I do hope, if you visit this small town dollar store, that you appreciate all they have available as much as I do!!!

Love the elliston store.Teresa and Michelle are always friendly and really care about their customers. Teresa always makes me laugh and always takes the time to ask about my day. All the while still being efficient and speedy to ensure others get the same customer service.

Went to the store in Alliston and got up to the counter the lady with brown hair and glasses kept talking I was separating the groceries and everything what I was buying myself and my daughter was separating her stuff and then she started ringing up everything all together I had told her before we were separating it she totally ignored what I was saying and she kept bringing it up and I was like it’s supposed to be separated it’s supposed to be separated it came up to $89 and something this lady needs to be fired it’s not the first time this has happened she don’t listen she just keeps talking about whatever now there’s no money for gas thanks to her The day workers are very good and they do their stuff to the tea this lady does not
