I brought a script by (a regular maintenance prescription for family, not an unusual RX). A tech said it would be ready within 30 minutes(after a mild disagreement about the insurance). I came back nearly 2 hours later and I still had to wait for the script to be finished/filled- it hadn't been processed. They didn't seem overly busy --although you never know with any pharmacy---maybe understaffed, overworked, underpaid??? Lol. And yet, I was quite flummoxed with the experience. That's unacceptable. They can do better. It's no wonder so many people utilize CVS of Emporia's drive-thru.

Poor customer service in the pharmacy and yes I transfer over to a different pharmacy because I done had to many bad experience with them about my medicine not being ready when I call in a day or two ahead of time and than most of the workers standing around laughing and joking and not doing there job.

I have been a customer of this Walmart for over 5 years now. Every Pharmacist in my local Walmart has always been very pleasant and knowledgeable in their position. The Pharmacists have gone out of their way to research prescription issues until they are resolved. The Pharmacy Technicians and other assistants know their area and the products in it. Everyone is warm and kind. It's nice to have a pharmacy where we know each other by name.

My prescription was called in by the ER doctor. I come to pick it up and am told it will be 20 minutes. 50 minutes later when I go to pick it up...am told 20 more minutes. When I ask why...she simply says

Why is it that you recieve a prescription at 9a.m. but it wont be filled until 10:30a.m. isn't that a little long when you have opened up.
