“This was our first visit at this vet office and I could not be any happier with their service. I asked for an immediate appointment as my cat has been throwing up and I had to get some help that day. He has a serious illness and they provided excellent care in testing him and diagnosing his problem. They were very careful, kind and considerate to both of us. Their methods of diagnosing are advanced and accurate. The cost was very reasonable. I recommend them 100 %.”

“If Dr. Marshall was a people doctor, I’d want her to be mine! She takes care of my pup like none other, and has for years. Not only is she professional and knowledgeable in her field, she walks in the room with an air of grace and compassion that is rare amongst medical professionals. She is so personable and we typically end up laughing the whole visit. She’s the best at putting my worried mind at ease, and doing everything possible to properly care for my pup. If you are looking for someone trustworthy to look after your pets, Dr. Marshall is your girl.”

“My cat Elvis is doing poorly. He is 17 years old and I took him to the vet on Wednesday the 29th of October. Doctor Joseph Harper and his assistance were absolutely wonderful. Dr. Harper has wonderful bedside manner, explaining every step of the way and came in frequently To explain things while they had my cat in the back to do tests. I really appreciated his open honesty, and suggestions for treatment or to withhold treatment. I think Riverside is a wonderful clinic. I highly recommend it.”

“My wife and I are new to the area, and we have a new puppy that needed to be seen by the Vet. I saw so many good reviews about Altavista Animal Hospital, I just new it would be a good fit for us. I was not disappointed! The staff was so kind and helpful, the doctor was extremely professional and knowledgeable. But, not gonna lie, the best part was the bill! Sooooo reasonable! If you're looking for a veterinarian who is professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced, look no further!”

“none of the other hospitals would take me in this week and told me that there would be at least a month in advance for an appointment. I called Ridgewood animal Hospital and they booked me right away. The receptionist was super sweet as well as the workers there. there is an area for cats that is a waiting room in an area for dogs so that is pretty nice. Very spacious as well. the workers as well as the people at the front desk were super sweet. i didn't have any problems. as well as the vet was very informative and helped me right away. gave me examples for my understanding. Thank you. 10/10 would come again”

“I can’t recommend this animal hospital enough ! Everyone here is absolutely SO beyond kind and patient. The second you walk your beloved pet in the door, they are family. I had to make that tough decision today, and the doctor, tech, and receptionists were guiding me through every single step, explaining everything, and supporting me however they could. Not that other animal hospitals don’t have a lot to offer, but most in the area are booked 3 weeks to months in advanced. Ridge wood did what they could to get me in the door, and make time for me. I’m truly grateful for my experience here. Rest Easy Sweet boy ? thank you for 17 years.”
