Had a terrible experience today. I simply went in to deposit a check quickly, and I was met with a dismissive teller who asked me so many questions about my deposit, depositing a check is such a simple thing, and it’s such a simple task. All I needed to do was deposit a check and it felt like the most complicated thing in the world. When I ask for the reasoning to why he could not accept my check he said I can sign you in to speak to my manager, even though he just went to go speak to him for five minutes, I never get treated this way when I come in in my full business attire but I guess maybe today since I had all of my work clothes on that were stained and oily I must’ve not been able to deposit deposit such a large check… i’m going to be banking with someone else from now on.

Just tried to make a wire transfer today with supervisor Mariella and her customer service was aweful. I have been banking with Apple for close to 25 years and it was the worst experience I have encountered in all these years.

Ok... So AFCU was never efficient or stellar but they have plummeted to a new depth. You cannot check balance by phone..... They tell you you can get a call back but it never happens............. Supposedly they have a new voice activated system but they haven't figured out how to use it. They also say longer than normal wait times but long is their new normal

Federal Credit Unions aren't what they used to be. Conventional banks have leveled out the playing field. Apple started with educators, but now has multiple government employees, and companies given the privilege of banking here. Right now post Covid everyone is having trouble finding employees. This can lead to delays, but once someone is available extra good service. Also they have the best change counter.The ATMs at this branch are awful. Almost every visit they are down. Completely. This is frustrating. Get it together please! The drive thru is usually a pleasant experience. Their loans are definitely competitive.

I have been a member of AFCU for many years. My first mortgage was with this bank. I have been to other branches over the years and service has always been wonderful and staff professional. Today I visited the Herndon branch, Jessica is by far the worst "Team Member" I have come across in any bank. Jessica ignored my until I went up to her to ask for help, she was surprised, I am wondering if it because she assumed I didn't speak English. She kept typing away and ignoring me, yet keeping an eye on me. I asked for help and she replied that she is "close" to helping me. She never help or even attempted to assist. She did make sure to make eye contact with me as I left. Great service AFCU! One bad apple can spoil the bunch, this is a clear example of it!

Omg! The best bank ever!! I bought bitcoin from scammers about $1000 my bank could give it back to me just in 4 days! Thanks so much!! I really recommend this bank not only for low rate car loans but also for good costumer service.

Today I came to the bank 8 minutes before they closed to use the ATM. I never used the ATM before so I tried to take out money on my own before I asked for help. When I used the ATM, my request was declined so I went up to the door and Apparently they closed the door before closing time. I was shocked and tried knocking on the door. The bank tellers were rudely tapping their wrists and mouthing that they were closed and I had to come tomorrow. They didn't try to approach me at the door and help me with the ATM. A random person who was inside opened the door for me and I tried explaining to the bank tellers that I needed help but they wouldn't listen and kept telling me to leave. As a college student who never used the ATM, I wanted to cry my eyes out but I didn't because I wanted to stand my ground and ask for help. Luckily the manager kindly assisted me and told me the steps of how to transfer money.But this was the worst experience of my life at a bank. All I wanted was help with the ATM so I could give money to my brother who is going out of state.Those ladies shouldn't have treated me that way and they should learn to politely help others. Instead of rudely telling someone to leave without knowing what the issue is. What happens if it was an emergency and I needed the money quickly. They would've said come tomorrow like they did today.I also want to add that these banktellers were females.

Been standing here in line. There are many managers just sitting in their office. Only one teller. I assume in order to become a manager or whatever you are where you have your own cabin. You should know got to be a teller.

For years I've always had the problems with this bank. Either the tellers forget to deposit something into an account or even checking my account balances one hour with $300 in the account then the next hour only having $150 in the account without having to spend anything. A mean wow a bank that cant account for money thats great the latest dispute is i got a mobile transfer for $300 and only $180 showed up in my account. They are saying i went below $0 in my account but i never go below $0. Its a bank that punishes people for being poor and cant account for money that is put into its own accounts.
