It's not my job to check myself out of your store. Hire some cashiers!

Personally this is a great store! Staff is good, especially when they know you are a regular. They carry name brand items as compared to other bulk buy stores. They have a good selection of items, and I often find hidden gems. My only complaints are: they rotate some items so you might find something great but it might not be a regular item they stock, and they lack a food court. Having both BJ's and Costco membership I shop at BJ 10X as much. The membership quickly pays for itself.Additional info: One area of opportunity is their third party services contract (home improvement vendor). They often solicit you as you're shopping BIG TURN OFF, and the third party home improvement vendor is VERY expensive, no savings here despite the association. Buyer beware....do your homework.

A hidden gem. They have a great selection. However, the store is a little run down, and somewhat messy and disorganized. Additionally, as I was comparing prices between BJs and other bulk-buy and department stores, I didn't notice significant savings. That aside, if you want to avoid the chaos associated with other bulk-buy stores, BJs is a great alternative, especially if you are looking for a decent selection of “plant-based” items!

Wyent there this morning around 10:47 to grab a couple things, got the mix and match bag of Doritos. I only grabbed one bag as I was leaving and going through the exit door the man watching the door checked my receipt and asked how many bags I had I said one he said go get another one.I told him I only paid for one. He said no you paid for 2 it’s mix and match! I was very impressed that he looked out for me! I honestly would not have noticed! So awesome experience today!! And what a great guy watching the door this morning! Thank you!! I didn’t even catch his name unfortunately!

This is a membership discount store. Memberships start at around $50 annually. Wide variety of items: TVs, countertop kitchenware, fresh foods, bakery items, fresh meats, snacks, baking items, beauty products, vitamins, clothing, oral hygiene items. Glasses and contact lenses are sold in the store, but you need to bring your prescription.BJs also sells and mounts tires. Members can also buy gas at the station near the store.

Poor customer service over the phone to resolve issues. We have BJ's membership for several years .We pay home deliver service and when we missed items and call Fairfax they told us to call Dashdoor when we never have a contract with Dashdoor.Delivery company just pick orders not made them. They told us to go to the store and pick up the missed item.

Very bad customer service!!! There is this lady at customer service that LOVES yelling and treating the customers very badly. Every time I go there she is yelling at someone. The worst thing is that the manager is right in front of her and he does not stop her or even say anything!!! They both need to get replaced with people that really want to work and know customer service!! Bjs NEEDS to do something asap regarding these people!!!!

We have memberships for both BJ's and Costco. Although they offer different items, Costco has higher quality products and a better food court. However, BJ's is less crowded and has shorter lines at the gas pump, even on weekends. But Management should train staff to greet customers when hiring and selecting them.

Been coming to this store for almost 10 years and like almost every northern Virginian, I have memberships at both Costco and BJs. BJs is no-nonsense, no frills, and a whole lot less stressful of a shopping experience. You won't be treated like a king or queen (which none of us is, btw), but I've always encountered genuine people there. I have never had to wait in the insane lines like at Costco, either inside the store or at the gas pump. That goes a long way for sanity in this area!

Excellent customer service!!! I came in to the store during the rush (2hrs before closing) and Aubrey, the tire expert/technician, went above and beyond by ensuring I ordered the right tires. He patiently walking me through the steps to order them and helping me find the correct tire sizes and type. Above all, I was impressed with how Aubrey operated during the busy rush. He worked fast while remaining calm. Also, he was respectful and made sure to meet each one of our different needs. He makes coming to the store inviting and reassures that our cars are in good hands. You have a wonderful addition to your team!

The tire services has gone from awesome to simply terrible. I need to get a tire repair done and after no answers for over an hour of calling I decided to go in person. After sitting around for 28 minutes a person magically appeared. He then told me that I needed to make an appointment for any services. And the next available time slot was 3:30pm THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY!!! I'm unsure how they justify a tire repair to be scheduled later on of the next business day, but I digress. The person (not worth putting his name here) working is very apathetic. He is so apathetic he just said "I'll get the manager up here for you" picked up the phone and mumbled some words that was inaudible, hung up the phone and said "the manager will be right up". Here I am 20minutes later writing this review and no manager or any person from BJs for that matter in sight. Been sitting in the Tire Center now for just under an hour and majority of that all by myself. Might want to do yourself a favor and stay away from BJs Tire in Fairfax until something drastically changes there.

Make Believe Agreed Delivery Time. Make no assumption that the agreed to delivery time period will be honored !! Does a delivery arriving FIVE HOURS EARLY at 7:56 AM meet customer expectations ?! The agreed time was 1:00-5:00 PM.Why does BJ's even bother sending out a delivery time confirmation communication ?! Can that delivery truck crew read and understand the daily delivery schedule. Do they give a damn ?BJ's, you failed with this delivery.

Terrible- don't buy tires here. Scheduled an appointment for tire install (3 days in advance, by the way), but the day of scheduled service they called and said they didn't have tires, rescheduled for the next day. Drove there at appointment time only to be told they still didn't have tires and didn't know when they would have them. Extremely unprofessional. I understand that things happen unexpectedly, but they should've 1) never sold me tires and 2) called me before I drove all the way there and wasted an hour.

Bj's had a wide variety of items, food, paper products, clothing, garden items (plants too), automotive products (tires too), and toys. There were no big crowds, with easy access.
