I sincerely do not know where the bad reviews are coming from. I've gone into this store twice in the last 3 weeks. Both times, the associate was incredibly helpful whilst still giving me space. Honestly, it was nice to be able to browse without having to dodge groups of 12 year olds sampling products. It is a much more peaceful shopping experience than certain other beauty retailers.

I'd give Fairfax Corners a ZERO if it was an option.I called in advance to make my make-over appt that was offered via email. Woman told me I didn't need one. I could just pop in. I asked her if she was sure because the email says appt only. I would be upset if I drove 20 miles and was told I needed an appt. She assured me it me it would be fine.I called while on my way and got voicemail that the associate was on the phone and someone would call me right back. I got there and parking was a nightmare. The store had a sign, "Closed until 4:00." Thought it was weird thing for a store to do, but figured since it was just past 4:00, I'd wait. Woman came in a minute or two. I explained that I was there for my make-over from the email. She told I needed an appt. I told her what the other woman said. She said she was wrong. I told her about leaving a voicemail. Then she tells me the phone is broken and has been for awhile. She didn't offer to help me anyway since the store was empty. She was so rude.How do they stay in business when they close during the work day without warning, their phone is broken, and the associates are rude?DON'T GO TO THIS STORE if you can avoid it. Order online. If you have Rakuten you get money back. You can also go to Ulta or Sephora where they fall all over themselves to help you. You can't get M-61 or Lune & Aster, but what does it matter when there are so many other options available elsewhere.

I was transformed to the stores of Garfinckel's and Woodies. There was a good variety of elegant gifts and the prices range was affordable. Of course was a little disappointed to find the silk scarf I got was not made in the USA, but overall delightful array of classy products.

I love Bluemercury and location is very convenient compared to others in surrounding area, however this place is hands down the worst for customer service. No matter what day or time I have stopped by in the last few months the door is locked with a sign that they are gone with a time that they will be back, which exceeds an hour from my arrival at times. If they are there, they ignore you until you have a question or are ready to pay, and then seem annoyed by your presence. I no longer try; I now drive across town to Ulta, Sephora or I order direct from brands online.

Worst customer service!! There were 2 ladies working there, and I waited 25mins (even went next door to buy a coffee and came back) and they were still taking their sweet time with the same customers. I understand you need to provide service, but I'm not waiting an hour so I can spend $$$, forget it. I'll get the same items at Nordstrom. Never coming here again.

Worst customer service rep ever. She seemed bothered when we walked in and I was picking out makeup colors and finalizing my decision (we were only in their 5 mins so not like we took a long time) and at 6:02 she rudely came up to us and said we closed at 6:00 and made us leave instead of offering to check us out or even giving us a nice courtesy to let us know. Her entire demeanor was rude with my daughter and I!

I'm not sure why the low ratings, but here goes mine. I knew the product line I was looking for in particular was there, and unfortunately is one of the pricier brands. I knew that coming in. So I went asked the rep for the product and then asked her if she had recommendations for a more cost effective option, and she showed me around the store picking out a few more. She had knowledge, the product I was looking for was available and checking out was super easy. I will be going back as they are the only store In The area that carry more dermatologist recommended products.

I have had consistently great service here. The women are so friendly and helpful. Monica is a true guru, and spent almost 2 hours with me, teaching me how to apply makeup. She was so patient and helpful. She made an intimidating challenge a lot of fun for me!

I Drove here around 3 PM on a Monday abs despite the hours stating they were open the doors were locked and no one was there. I wasn't able to get the items I needed.

While I love Blue Mercury, I don’t love this location. On multiple visits, I have found the employees not very friendly. When I want to check out new items, they always go to their house brand. If I ask for another brand, they seem hesitant. The house brand is good, but I like options.

Never in my life have I ever meet a staff so careless and disregard for what customer ASK for. I will never shop at this store ever a again. One it’s a expensive and all over experience in the store event with interaction with a staff member! Wish I got her name!

Compact case is not reusable. Expensive, weighty, a lot of plastic, excessive packaging. Not confident any portion of this compact is recyclable. In sum, a waste of moolah (probably all went into the packaging) and rough on the environment. Product itself is nothing special. Zero bang for the buck. This store better come up with better lines of goods, a better value for one's dollar, and an out of this world shopping experience that sets it apart from online values and local competitors, otherwise, I'm betting it will succumb to a huge loss pretty darn soon. Time to change things up NOW and quickly.
