Inefficient, Inept, incompetent. Made a 3:00pm appointment for a TPMS faiure warning and I had a faulty TPMS sensor on a Brand New CX30 (2023). (( I had it indepently checked with another mechanic and the sensor did not trasmit a signal.))The Mazda service dept didnt even bother to actually check the sensor and I waited for 1.5hrs and they only Reset the TPMS system. I drove away and the TPMS failure came back on after a few minutes. I called them back right away while I was returning to the dealer and they advised me it was too late for them to do anything. The service tech stated, "they don't do warranty service after 4pm." They rescheduled for another appt in the morning the following week and offered a loaner. They called back the day before to reschedule because they didnt have a loaner available. They rescheduled for the following week. They called day before again to tell me they had to cancel appt, because they were moving service trailer and reschedule for the following week. I show up AGAIN after 3 weeks after initial appt and they tell me it's a 2 hour wait for service to check the TPMS sensor. BUT then, they advised me they might not have it in stock. THEREFORE, why make me wait 2 hours to tell me that!!! And why follow through with an appointment, when you don't even have the part.THE DEGREE OF IMCOMPETENCE IS ASTOUNDING!!

HUGE shoutout to Mark, Paul, and Omar! I was one of the first customers in the brand new location - and we worked a deal that I was happy with even before coming in. Process could’ve been faster, but I understood with them still setting up. I’ve been to a few Mazda dealerships and they definitely went above and beyond.

Just be careful when servicing your car, as they can be dishonest about “required” repairs. For example, they recommended a transmission fluid change when Mazda’s own, official website states that all SkyActive engines have lifetime transmission fluid that doesn’t need to be changed. They also urged me to change my spark plugs when I literally changed them all out for brand new ones myself not even a month ago.

We went shopping today for a Mazda CX-50 or CX-5 and spent a few hours looking at both and test driving. Umar from the sales department assisted us and spent the entire time walking us through various aspects of the cars while also comparing features from both models. While the dealership was quite busy for a Sunday, Umar stayed with us as we waited to process the sale even though the finance section had a long line of people buying cars. All in all, Umar was very personable, attentive and constantly kept us at the forefront of his thoughts and attention. I had no concerns or worries because of Umar and his personal attention to these two shoppers made our to buy even easier! Thanks again and good work Umar! Mario

Had a wonderful experience with Safford Mazda Fairfax. Highly recommend Umar. He was professional knowledgeable. Listened to what was important to me in a car and didn’t pressure me into buying something I didn’t want. The car buying process can be very stressful, but Umar and the Safford team made it easy and seamless. I never felt uncomfortable negotiating and felt like we came to a good deal for both sides. I purchased a car from Safford Brown Mazda Fairfax after spending a lot of time looking at models of cars at different dealers. Most of them had limited inventory and only wanted to sell me what they liked. Luke Thornton of Safford Brown was the only salesperson who showed me many options for purchase, he listened to my needs and the color and type of car I wanted and he produced the car! We purchased a CX5 and a CX9 last year from Safford Mazda Chantilly, because Safford Fairfax did not have the vehicles we wanted. Both cars came with one free oil change that had to be used within one year of purchase. Because we live closer to Safford Fairfax, we prefer to take our vehicles to this location to be serviced.We took the CX9 in to Safford Fairfax for the one free oil change with no problem. Today, I called to schedule the one free oil change for the CX5 at Safford Fairfax, and I was told by the lady in the service department that they only honor it if the car was bought at their location??? I mentioned to her that they honored the one free oil change (at this location) for the CX9 just a little over a month ago. She still told me that they couldn’t do it. I told her that I guess we will be going to Safford Chantilly from now on for all our service needs. She said okay and hung up. I wonder if she would have told me the same thing if I needed to have a major repair done to my car?We trade in our cars for new Mazdas every four years. All of our previous cars were purchased at Brown’s Mazda in Fairfax, now Safford Mazda. After today all future Mazdas that we purchase will be bought from anyone other than Safford.

Don't even bother getting a car from here. They had me test drive the higher value model of car than what I was looking for. When I asked them for the model I was looking for, they said the needed to check if other dealers have it and left us to diddle our thumbs for an hour and a half before saying that they were going to charge us an extra 500 dollars for a car at another dealer. I don't know what they spent an hour and a half doing, but it felt like a tactic to make us compromise what we wanted to get, which I did not appreciate. If they try to pull that, just go to the other dealer. Don't waste your time with them.

Getting assistance at Mazda Safford Brown is a challenge, unless it relates to a sale. I sought an appraisal for my car, not for sale, but to determine its true value. This was prompted by my dissatisfaction with the government's tax assessment. I was directed to Stan, who unfortunately did not consider my car's maintenance history (purchased from here in 2020) or its body damage (relevant for a tax appeal). When asked about the purpose of the appraisal, I honestly explained my intention. Stan provided an appraisal cost equivalent to my 2020 purchase price. When I inquired whether the same cost applied if I were to exchange this car for a newer Mazda, he told me that the price would be lower. Regarding the body damage, Stan suggested I find a body shop, as they do not handle such matters. It's reassuring to learn that Mazda would resell my car for $22,000, but learning about the true value of my car, which was the purpose of my visit, has never happened. I regret my purchase here from day one.

This place is the Chick-Fil-A of Car Dealerships. ASK FOR PRODUCT SPECIALIST BRENT THORNTON. Brent went above and beyond for us. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable during the entire process. Although we did not end up purchasing our vehicle from Safford Brown of Mazda Fairfax, they were very welcoming and willing to work with us on the price of the vehicle.

I called to book a service appointment for a malfunctioning back up camera for my Mazda. I drove 40 minutes one way arriving about 20 minutes early. Waited at their service counter for 10 minutes because nobody was there. I explained what I was there for, only to be told the recall my vehicle is experiencing has no fix and no parts are available. There was absolutely nothing they could do for me and the person I spoke to on the phone to schedule my appointment was an "appointment coordinator" only (even though I remember speaking to the service dept). I ended up getting in my car and driving the 40 minutes home. Complete waste of gas, time, and breath.Don't expect to get any kind of service here, over the phone or otherwise.
