“We are in Centreville and took a homeless woman to the Lamb center, as she lost her ID and needed help getting a new one. They said they could not help her. Even though we are in Fairfax County, they only help within a certain radius of where they are in Fairfax. Just FYI if you were thinking of reaching out for assistance.”

“Stopped here to donate blood, totally cool operation. Bathrooms are super clean and plenty of snacks when you are done. Save a life and donate blood, don't mess around. It's a selfless act that we should all make part of our lives. Never forget to have a nice meal before you show up and make sure your body is ready to give, get your sugars and vitals in the start position. Seriously, the bible says like 235 times that we should "never be afraid", so add .....to donate and make this world a better place.”
“as a volunteer here, i worked to socialize animals and interact with them. speaking to them or petting/brushing them lets them get more comfortable with humans. the humane society does have limited hours, but their care and love of these animals is not limited whatsoever. i visited the cats there and they were all very very very loved. you could tell every volunteer wanted the best for them and nothing less.”

“I am absolutely amazed that our county has such a remarkable center specifically for helping those seniors with cognitive impairments at all levels. While still relatively new for my spouse, as she gets use to some hours without me, the expert staff at the center is doing their utmost to help her get over the anxiety of being away from myself for a short time as caregiver. And there are so many staff members ready to help each individual. And the day activities they provide for these seniors is fantastic- whether they be seat exercises, music and sing alongs, or art history or movie memories. And then as caregiver, ultimately help me catch up with some time to myself, even though I am still working on some guilt for this time away. They even have caregiver programs to help us thru all this as well. I sincerely thank insight memory care center for providing these amazing services.”
