Leaving this review, first the staff refused to acknowledge that I made an appointment for a vaccine, then refused to give me the 2nd dose of the vaccine. Unprofessional

HORRENDOUS store. Racist loss prevention people in kakis and polos trailing me all over the store acting a fool. If you want to feel like a criminal try shopping here if you are black or hispanic. I wont ever shop here or get meds here ever again! These loss prevention folks are embarrassingly novice. Kids in kakis & polo's chasing around people of color out of the store. Fake shopping but stalking you all over the store. No thanks.

I ran late for the appointment that was at 5:40 and I got there at 5:50 tried checking in but the code expired. I asked pharmacist if it’s still possible to have the appointment and I’m aware I’m late but pre-checking was completed. She said because she is fully booked. It was just me and her. I guess when I had to wait 20min for my appointment when I got there on time is okay but if I’m late 10min then it is unacceptable.

CVS used to be great. The pharmacist knew my name and greeted me personally. These days it's a different pharmacist every time I go in. Also, they now close the pharmacy from 1:30-2:00 for lunch. I fully agree that the staff deserves a lunch break, but they should stagger the shifts so they don't have to close. Finally, I called ahead to check the hours and the recording mentioned nothing about the closure. That's exactly why I called ahead! They need to fix the staffing issue or at least fix the recording!

I had been going here for almost two years, until 2 weeks ago. Someone in the pharmacy was very unprofessional and laughed at another customer, who was trying to get medicine for her child. I will not support places that display that type of behavior towards people in need. Save your self-respect and choose another provider.

11/19/22 After getting dinner from Vivi Bubble Tea,I remembered I needed to pick up some antihistamine medication. Luckily I came across some Claritin non-drowsy 24 hour medication. I recently broke out in hives and this medication helped keep me from literally scratching the skin off my body. This store is one I do not visit very often, but it sue came in handy yesterday on my way home. This store was well stocked and organized. Black santas greeted me at the door. This time around while visiting a CVS Pharmacy, I saw no left over Halloween items. I did see there is a doggie Mobile for ffg dogs to get their hair cut. Maybe cats too. An odd play for this set up, but a good place too.I saw The Minute Clinic was open fir business and the song I Need A Doctor came into my head. I did not sing the lyrics out loud.It had been a long day, but this store will be one I stop by at should I need something else in this location. Oh!, and the associate I meet helped me with getting my discount since I have been having issues with my CVS Card. Thank you for the help man.

I’ve been going to CVS for my prescriptions for decades. I’ve lived in a number of different places and had experiences with different CVS pharmacies. This location is my favorite. I find the whole pharmacy staff to be helpful and professional. They actually answer the phone! I don’t even live near this location anymore, but still get my prescriptions here because I find that if something comes up, or I have questions, I can get excellent service from this team.

I'm grateful for the help of Dr.Lottie for checking results for my Tuberculosis test. A different cvs minute-clinic in the area closed the morning of my appointment, therefore canceling it (I received an email about my appointment cancellation). I needed someone to check my TB results, and if it weren't for the cvs minute-clinic on Prosperity Ave I would have had to redo the test completely. Thank you Dr.Lottie for making my appointment happen!

Pharmacy is a mess. Only partially filled my wife’s order after her surgery and placed ear ointment when doctor prescribed an eye ointment.

Worst Pharmacy I've been to. Looks like many feel the same checking reviews here. DO NOT GO HERE. My doctor accidentally sent to wrong CVS. Anyway, hijab wearing counter person was nice but the pharmacist was just rude and didn't want to be bothered with. I was just asking this pharmacist if insurance was applied because of high price. And she was rude, unfriendly, didn't want to be bothered....basically said go check with your insurance and then she just throws my prescription on the back desk. I ended up calling my doctor to send another prescription to Giant instead. And Giant pharmacist there was so friendly and even advised me of using GoodRx instead for additional discount... and ended up paying around $8. Otherwise, at this lousy CVS Pharmacy, I would have paid $190.BTW, I tried to call CVS later to cancel that prescription more than 5 times...but no one picked up. Anyway, I'm sure they are busy but still that is just very poor customer service. I don't plan to change my pharmacy, CVS, because where I go normally are nice people. If only my doctor didn't accidentally send my prescription to this wrong cvs, would have been better day.One more thing....as I've over heard waiting. Lady front of me asked of her prescriptions that she called in yesterday. This same pharmacist said we don't have the order and questioning her if she did call in. And that it'll be done hour later. Either they are short-handed and too busy....or just not very responsible.

Even this CVS location (3921 Prosperity Ave, Fairfax, VA 22031)doesn’t deserve one Star ranking. CVS should provide better training and skillful people in their facilities. Today I lift the job earlier and showed up with my to get the flue shot. There was no people around the counter, the person at the pharmacy counter told us that they cannot provide a flu shot without appointment at their location. First, not sure what are these worker job at CVS to reject people without offering any help. Is that professional? 2nd CVS should collect all signs around their facility which says (Flue Shot), as we observed it was not true, no one is providing any flue shot.

Could not be worse. They give appointments and walk ins but treat all the same. So if someone theoretically comes in and has no appointment but they check in before you and have a rather complex case, they will see that person first and make you wait for a one minute flu shot. Happened to me twice in a period of two weeks. They have one screen to sign in and have a bunch of useless "helpers" running around asking to assist you but they can't really do anything to help you.The concierge person was cool letting mestand for an extended period even though I told her I was in bed rest. Then she proceeds to tell me that next time I should schedule it through the pharmacy but since I'm already there and checked in I should just stay the course. After I had been there for 15 minutes, I wasn't interested in waiting any longer.

The pharmacy department is just terrible. They'll tell me prescriptions are ready for pickup, but they won't have them when I show up. They've refused to fill brand new prescriptions, because "it's out of refills." I'll get random text messages asking me to pick up prescriptions that I didn't ask to have refilled. The list goes on. This is not a well run department by any stretch of the imagination.
