Have scheduled three vaccinations at this location in the past nine months. Of the three, only one (the first) was actually available. The subsequent two appointments were made, multiple CVS automatic reminders were sent, but there was no vaccine in stock upon arrival, and surprise from the staff that we'd be arriving expecting it to be there. The best they could do was to either offer to order it for several days later, or try to find another CVS location with the vaccine in stock (unsuccessful the first time, I didn't bother the second).
It's a pity, because it's a pleasant, convenient location, and the staff involved with our first vaccination were very good and professional. It's probably a CVS corporate system problem, but it seems to be particularly bad at this location. It's also frustrating, as I took PTO each time to take advantage of a chance to pick a time of my choosing, in event of the typical side effects. Getting stood-up when one is using PTO is very expensive (I don't think CVS would be willing to pay me my PTO hours back).
As for the idea that one should call ahead of time, what's the point of an on-line system, if one just has to make a phone call and wait on hold, anyway? They'll probably tell me to make the appointment on-line.
We subsequently went to Walgreens Vienna (Nutley St) both times, where we were accommodated as walk-ins. (Also very good and professional service). That's going to be my first choice from now on.

I like this CVS because of the customer service experience which is the best. Maria , made me love this CVS because she always ready to help with a smile no matter the issue, she will find a solution to make you happy. I believe all of them will be happy to help, but it just that I had so many great experiences with Maria that I can't stop talking about her. I wish all the CVS had someone like her to make you feel welcome.

Extremely rude man at the drive-through. I never write reviews, especially bad ones, but when you’re not feeling well and just need your medication the LAST thing you want to deal with is an employee with a rude and short temper.

The clerk at the counter turned around and pretended to put things in order, ignoring me asking for a checkout, and then reluctantly approached me, shook his head, and pretended to be very annoyed with a disapproving expression. Later, when I tried to pay with $100 in cash, they told me that I had to wait for 10 minutes and forced me to pay by card. An unkind and rude clerk might as well not work.

Went in for testing, scheduled, waited for 1 1/2 hrs with only 1 person in front of me who was already in the testing room. Had to go back to get results and waited for 2 hours with only 1 person in front of me. This CVS has to be the worse I've seen anywhere and I don't even live in VA.

I came to pick up my pharmacy order with 5 items. I have been waiting for over 15 minutes. All in between that time I was instructed to give “one (1) minute.” Come to find out the order was not even ready for pick, when I was informed “ready for pickup”. Then when I only asked one (1) time during the duration of over 15 min wait, “how much longer?” I was again informed one(1) more minute. Lastly they just upon themselves behind the pharmacy decided to cancel my pharmacy pickup.
Don’t tell people to wait, wait, wait. Then when asked only once “how much longer?”, just to tell me “One more minute”. You would disrespect my time and my money. You should have true fully and correctly tell me that pharmacy has to cancel and redo the order.
Would you like for someone to mess with you time and your earning? If that’s the case, great job, cause that’s what you just did.
NEVER RECOMMEND this location either. They will waste your time and play with your hard earnings!

I do not like that I was being watched and followed by an employee in the hair care section, one night. I have never experienced this kind of discrimination at CVS, during the day, on my previous visits.

A big thank you to the evening pharmacy staff! Marlon was friendly, helpful and quick to help with my prescription! The store staff Katherine and Maria were wonderful in helping me with my purchases and making sure I was use all of the savings/coupons on my CVS Care Pass! Thank you!!
