What a mess inside! Reminded of a store Called Rock Bottom in Nanuet NY in the 80's. I complete mess of a sales floor but they have everything you need cheaper than other stores! The cashier was extremely efficient and was able to reduce waiting to pay. Several cashier's. Oh and who doesn't love pineapple soda! Always find what you don't need and treat yourself!! #dollartreelife

To me it was definitely not the cleanest Dollar Tree I have ever visited, starting even with the parking lot. The people were nice but isles were messed up and difficult to maneuver.

I’ve come here a few times and most of the time the employees are extremely nice. Great customer service skills. But today after work, I stopped by to pick up on some fall or pumpkin themed stuff for the office and I know that bags usually cost five cents or something like that, and I had one of my large reusable bags that they sell at TJ Maxx or Marshalls so I brought it in with me this time, I placed everything on the belt and the cashier who did not say hi, did not even acknowledge me, also had her hood over her head and honestly didn’t even look up from what she was doing, Scanned the items & The only time I heard her speak was when she asked me if I wanted a bag and I said no I’ll just use this big one that I brought, you could just throw everything in there, and I placed it at the end of the cashier and this employee decided to go ahead and scan everything and place everything outside of the bag, and it was quite a few items I had gotten, they were smaller items, but still it was $50 worth of items and not a single item did she put in the bag. So I thought maybe she’s waiting for me to pay and then she’ll put everything in the bag, so I go ahead and pay and she hands me my receipt & doesn’t say anything and I’m looking at her like do you guys not bag items anymore? And she immediately answered with no. And I asked her are you sure about that? And she didn’t really know what to say to that question so I asked her if there was anyone I could talk to and she looked behind her and then looked back at me and said no. At that point, I told her I’m gonna need you to call someone & She completely ignores me at this point. I would’ve dropped it If her tone didn’t come off as an attitude & Then just acting as if I’m not standing right in front of her. I was generally confused, if there’s a store policy, where if I bring my own shopping bag, I have to bag my own items then there might as well be a self checkout lane. But this is a cashier scanning each individual item and you’re telling me that you can’t say hi, you can’t even look up at me, And I have to bag my own stuff? So somebody else came from behind and was checking out and this employee did the same thing To that customer, she did not acknowledge her, The only time she spoke was when She asked The other customer if she wanted a bag for her items and that customer said yes, so she did go ahead and bag those items. So I knew she was going to ignore me and my request to have somebody come over, so I told her I’d be right back and I went to go look for the manager myself and I did talk to the manager, and I gave her the good feedback about the rest of the employees, because today they were restocking the entire store so there was a lot of employees all throughout the aisles, and every single one of them was extremely nice and polite with the exception of the cashier. So I asked The manager for clarification, if there was any type of policy if I brought my own bags that I needed to bag my own items? And she said no that was not the case at all and that she apologized for employee and said she would talk to her. I hate pulling out the Karen card, but I’ve worked customer service for years, and I understand those days where you just don’t want to be social or you just don’t want to even be at work, but you’re getting paid for a job regardless so any type of acknowledgment, just a hi how are you today? I think it’s the bare minimum for any type of job especially customer service. Whenever there are self checkout lines, I always go that route because I’d rather scan and bag my own items, but there is no self checkout lines. Here you have to place your items on the belt and the cashier has to then individually scan everything and then charge you, so then the common sense there is for the cashier to bag it regardless of if you want it in a plastic bag or one of your own big bags.
