Freda is a good Pilates teacher, and I enjoyed my time in her classes. However,I believe her business practices leave a lot to be desired. I took beginner reformer classes with her during the worst part of the pandemic when she had few students, I think usually 4 for her only in-person beginner class on Saturday mornings. I usually purchased a block of 10 classes.Good for 3 months, although with the pandemic as well as her missing classes she was good about making up classes missed. However in the spring when my son began began playing soccer I couldnt make all the classes. And I guess by now her classes had started to get more full. So when I had a break from soccer I tried to register, called her and found out she would no longer honor the 5 remaining sessions I had paid for, nor the remaining mat classes. She said I could have attended the advanced class she held during the week. I had actually tried one of these classes only to be called out by her during the class, informing the other members that they were getting an easier workout due to my presence. After that I no longer felt comfortable attending this class. Anyway, make sure you either never miss a class or get in writing what the terms for makeup classes are before signing up.
