I and my family have previously purchased several cars from your dealership. My current one is from 2010. I appreciate the excellent maintenance that your dealership provides. As always, the staff member handling my appointment was thorough, knowledgeable, and considerate. Good judgement was reflected in some of the advice I received. Somehow your staff manages to get my car through the process within 3 hours--which is what I want since I wait on-site.

Don Barker is the best sales consultant I have ever worked with. His kind, patient and understanding demeanor with his extensive expertise in the Hyundai brand was able to make the car buying process an absolute dream. He is the main reason I would come back. Once we decided on the car, Leo and Brad both were super accommodating and patient in helping us close the deal!

The worst experience ever in my 30+ years of dealing with cars and dealerships! Bought a brand new 2023 Tuscan in summer and the battery can't hold it's charge overnight. So the car doesn't start!I keep getting jump start from AAA. What a disaster in the mornings when we are rushing to get to school and work!I have called many times to get the car in, but they can only give me an appointment for 4 weeks later! The car has only 4000 miles, but they are treating my (emergency) battery related visit as a full 8000 mile routine service and can't get me in for a quick 15 minute check up only on the battery! They say tow the car here and we will get to it whenever we can, maybe one week, maybe longer!!! And NO loaner car! I am supposed to rent a car myself for unlimited time till these guys decide to get a quick battery check or change on my car, whenever that would be!!!??? Is this a joke???I even called the 800 number and they said because it was an emergency, I should buy the battery n have it installed myself, and then call us back for a refund, BUT this (self purchase ) would null the warranty!!! So I'm forced to go through the dealership service department in order to keep the warranty intact, but the dealership can't and won't see the car, nor do anything about it for at least a month!!! Why are they forcing full oil change n service appointment 4000 miles before the due date/mileage in order to replace a lemon battery!?Crooks! Horrible service! Indifference and unreliable sales and service staff! Absolutely stay away!

I recently had my 2022 hyundai Santa Fe serviced and it was the worst experience I have had with the Safford-Brown formerly Fairfax hyundai people. I understand there can be growing pains when mergers and new ownership happens but this is appalling.My husband and I both own Hyundais but I will only detail my experience for now.1. They have informed us that the 3 years of free oil changes will not be happening because of new management. I'm not sure how they can do that when it is supposed to be a corporate wide service.2. I made an appointment for a Saturday morning at 8:40am because I needed a regular service as well as taking care of an issue with the coolant supposedly.In February of this year my car had started making this slight hum/rattle when first started. The noise went away after a couple of minutes but I still knew it should be investigated. I was told that it was due to there needing to be coolant for my hybrid. The noise went away for about 6 months until it came back recently.I texted the dealership multiple times after dropping off my car to ask for updates. There was no response so I tried calling them. I kept getting rerouted to the scheduling people because nobody from the service department answered.I finally got tired of waiting so I went to the dealership at 4pm. I was told they had done everything except dealt with the coolant issue.I sat in the waiting room for about an hour since I knew the service department closed at 5pm. I went back to the service department and my car was still not finished. They still had the coolant to deal with. I stood and paced in the garage area for about 45 minutes until they finally finished my car. I was the last car out and never got an answer about what exactly took so long3. To add insult to injury, the hum/rattle has already started again so there is clearly something going on with the coolant in my car.In general, I do love my hyundai. Just super disappointed in the service lately.

Great experience buying our Hyundai Tucson hybrid at Safford Brown. CJ was really friendly and low key. He did not put any pressure on us or act like he was doing us a favor by showing us the car. Would definitely go back next time we’re in the market.

Service department is incredibly busy but they largely do not seem to be competent nor do they seem to care about guaranteeing their work. It seems like they have tons of cars coming in there and they rush them out as fast as possible. I have had problems with a Check Engine light on a recent model Hyundai under warranty and they have been unable to properly diagnose it or fix it. After 3 visits, they claimed it was fixed, but then the light with the same error code came back on within a day or two and they told me they are booked for appointments and the next available appointment was not for another month. Very poor experience.

I had a recent service visit to the new Safford Brown Hyundai Fairfax, previously Fairfax Hyundai. I had originally purchased my Hyundai from Fairfax Hyundai (same location) seven years ago; at the time of purchase I was promised free oil and filter changes for the life of my car's ownership. This benefit was a consideration in my decision to purchase a Hyundai at Fairfax Hyundai. The DisappointmentNow, I read the following words at the end of the final page on my recent invoice: "no more free oil"because of a change in ownership. In fact, the statement was reiterated five times so as to over-state the new Company's policy. See relevant photo.I might expect that a new Company might end the policy of offering "free oil changes" effective for new customers but NOT retroactively end the policy for previous customers for whom the promise of free oil changes was made. In short, the new Company should honor the previous promise made.I can't see myself doing future business with Safford Brown Fairfax Hyundai. image0.jpeg

You'll see that Safford Brown Hyundai responded to this review. You should also know that when I reached out again they didn't even bother to respond in any way. So, my original rating and review is spot on. Avoid this place if you can.New ownership ruined this place. Can't get a service appointment for over a month out now. Used to be a good dealership but now it isn't. If I could give zero stars I would.Update 1:The Team at Safford Brown Hyundai Fairfax responded so I took them up on what they said and reached out to them. I will update my review if this was just for show on their part.Update 2:No response from their team once I reached out multiple times. So they just respond to Google reviews to make it seem like they care about customers.

We were shopping for a new suv and we decided to visit the closest hyundai dealer on labor day to see the new 2024 tucson and we were greeted by Don who went out of his way and gave us the best car sales experience ever.Before coming to Hyundai we had gone to koons tyson's toyota and and it was the opposite, too overpriced and bad service.We are very happy that we came to Safford Brown Hyundai, they are all very respectful and great prices, if you are thinking in buying a great car or suv and a great deal make sure to come and ask for Don, I personally greatly recomend him.

Overall this is just a horrible dealership. They drop the ball at every opportunity they have. They didn’t pay off my trade in. I had an issue with the new car I bought and they wanted to patch it instead of replacing the issue even though I noticed it before driving off the lot after purchasing. They never call you back. They always cut you off when speaking to them and try to get you off the phone in a hurry. Everything about this experience with them has been horrible. The sales associate we dealt with was kind and tried to take care of us when we were purchasing. However, there seems to be a deep seated management issue. The way this place is run is jaw dropping. There simply aren’t words to describe it all. Do yourself a favor and stay away.Update: Safford Brown Hyundai Fairfax still has not taken care of anything. They completely and totally disregard everything after the initial sale takes place.

They absolutely worse dealership I've ever taken my car to. I dropped my car off to get fixed after someone tried to steal it. My car was there for nearly a month. Then when it was finished no one notified me until I called to find out it was ready 4 days prior. Then when I get my car back there was SEVERE!! damage to the front right side of my car and they blamed it on a tow company. What was funny to me is that they knew it was a female driver but did not know what tow company she was from. Total lies. These people have literally ruined me. Cause now I had to take it somewhere else to get fixed and pay more money. This place is horrible and heartless. If anyone takes there car here be very careful you may not get your car back in one piece. This place deserves negative stars. I'm making sure EVERYONE knows what happened here.

This place is amazing. New to the area and came from an area with a poor Hyundai dealership, after reading reviews, I decided to drive further to have my vehicle serviced at this location. Josh in service was a model of customer service, and really made me feel like I was a part of the family. Service was on time, quick, and informative. No one bugged me about extra things to do, and I was comfortable in the waiting area. Very happy to have a service center that cares about our business.

I must say I am very disappointed at the service I received today. They dented my bumper and chipped the paint!!In addition to that..the wait time for just an oil change was almost 4 hours, when I was told it would take an hour and a half. Yes, I understand things happen but if that’s the case then we should’ve been accommodated properly. Either a discount for the long wait, or some other incentive, or at the very minimum we deserved some sort of communication that they were behind or the wait would be longer than usual. I wasn’t the only one there for 4, plus hours. There was an handful of us.Also- apparently there was a shuttle service. I was never offered or told about this service. I only know about it due to one of the other customers that was in the waiting area with me. I just bought my car in January and there was a missing tag assemble piece when the car was purchased and the dealer refused to fix it even though I received the car this way! I’m so sad by what I dealt with today because I was originally satisfied with my car purchase but now I have regrets.I will make sure everyone knows about the service we received today. I have sent many customers their way in the past and that will end today. Please do not waste your time at this location. Go where you’re valued. Not just your money, but you as a person because today was extremely disappointing in every possible way. Never again.

Miguel Paz and the team at the service center was a huge help to me! He was very attentive to my car and communicated to me very thoroughly the whole time.When I confirmed he could begin working on the car, he fixed it within the same day!Extremely pleased with my service at this location!
