I just found out my freezer and refrigerator were not working. I called in the afternoon and they were able to send out people to come with all the parts and fixed my fridge on the SAME DAY in less than 3 hours!!!!! I'm impressed. Now I think I work too freaking slow in my jobService: Refrigerator repair

First of all, this company also goes by another name - My Appliance Tech, LLC. The technician came out and did a superficial check for a leak (didn't even bother looking behind the dishwasher) and then told me since he didn't see evidence there must not be a leak. Last night water came down through the ceiling so, yes, there is a leak. I can only assume that half of these reviews that give 5 stars are faked. I strongly recommend you go with another company.Service: Dishwasher repair

Avoid at all costs. TL;DR: I’m out $500 to this company, even though they did nothing. They disappeared once they got my money, and I ended up having to buy a brand new fridge anyway.I had a refrigerator stop working, so I called My Appliances Tech. They claimed same day repairs, but once the inspector arrived, they stated they needed to purchase the part (a compressor) and come and visit the next day. I said that I had to be in the office the next day but was told their repair person was only available that day, and they would be going out of town after that, so the next day was the only option. On top of that I had to place a $500 deposit. When they returned they said the repair should be an hour. Two men sat around trying to diagnose a leak of the part they just installed, and it took over 3 hours for them to complete the installation. Additionally they tracked dirt all over our house. Additionally, we have had cleaning professionals help us with our house for years, and they treated them like absolute garbage. It was absolutely abhorrent.Once they finally finished installing the compressor, they claimed the compressor breaking was a symptom and that installing it may not fix the actual issue, so I should monitor the refrigerator to see if it started working the day after the replacement. Obviously, this was not something mentioned as part of the initial quote. And despite knowing the repairman was not available the day they wanted me to confirm the replacement worked, they didn’t provide an alternative to address that possibility. As it turned out, the refrigerator indeed did not start working, so I followed up to try to rectify the issue. I have followed up several times over the course of the following and left messages with their receptionist, but still to this day have not received a follow up, and I do not expect one.We ended up having to buy a brand new refrigerator and additionally eat the $500 deposit for a repair that did not work.Service: Refrigerator repair

Find another service. Tech is unskilled and owner a rude jerk. They ended up breaking the fridge after their first repair and it flood my freaking basement. Dude denied that he did it and said warranty is only good for 30 days. They go by the name MY Appliance Tech also so don't be tricked. 703-662-5200 is their phone number

Ordinarily, I don't leave harsh reviews for poor service. It's not worth it to me. But Foremost Repairs is a special case.Everything about Foremost Repairs makes sense when you realize that their business model is built around squeezing you for the $70.00 service fee. Providing effective service? Not so much. I sought this firm to repair my leaky dishwasher. One week, two visits, and $250+ later, I got a dishwasher that leaked like Niagara Falls three minutes after the tech left. My dishwater went from "leaky" to "totally inoperable." Did I get any acknowledgement that the tech's diagnosis was wrong? That my dishwasher was totaled? That my time was wasted? No. When I sought a full refund, what I got three days later was "Tony" providing an avalanche of excuses, alibis, rationalizations, and justifications for why he was keeping the $70 service fee, even though his firm made my situation worse and not better, and even though I squandered ten days with Foremost that I could have used to order a new dishwasher before the holidays. The best part was when Tony grudgingly offered to charge me a mere $60 for the service call, not $70. Guess what service call fee is advertised on the website, as of 12/22/21? If you said "$59.95," you win the prize. (You can keep the nickel, Tony.) He also offered me a free repair call for "next time." Are you surprised to learn that there's a coupon for a free repair call on the website? But no worries - there won't be a next time.I don't mind paying for service calls when the tech gets it right. If the tech had told me on the first visit that my dishwasher was deader than disco, I'd've paid him the fee, and that would be that. But when you say you can fix my dishwasher, you assure me that it's fixed as you leave, and five minutes later I need to call Aquaman to turn the dang thing off - yeah, I have a problem with paying $60 for that. If you're masochistic enough to use Foremost Repairs, try to pay with credit card and not check - it makes it easier to fight the charges later. Or better still, take $70 out of your purse or billfold and set it on fire. Either way, you'll be out $70 (or maybe $60 if Tony is feeling charitable) and your appliance won't be repaired, but hey - you'll have a pretty fire!

The technician was good, the work was done correctly and in a prompt manner. The issue I have is the pricing. Our freezer door had a bent hinge bracket, it was an obvious fix, I told the operator that when I called in to make the appointment. The technician came out, looked at it and left within a few minutes. Then came back a few days later with the part, installed it, and was gone within 20 minutes. I was hit with $135 in labor fees for less than 30 mins of work over both visits. That price didn't include the price of the new part. It seems like kind of a scam to be charged for the first visit when no work was done or required and he left within a few minutes.

Here is my experience with Foremost Appliance Repairs Fairfax also know as; My Appliances Tech : I called and asked if they were certified to work on Dacor equipment. They said yes (first lie), so I booked an appointment. The tech which is also happens to be one of the managers arrived and looked at my oven and down vent. Spent about 10 minutes looking and I could see he was struggling to figure out the the issue. Finally I was told I have bad control boards without any testing. I was told it would be about 5 days before I would hear back and I would be sent a quote via email. They collected there $90 dollars and left. After not hearing back for 2 weeks, I called and was told, by Tony that Dacor no longer makes those parts (not true) and I should just buy new a new oven and down draft. I had my suspicions, I pulled out my original receipt with all the part numbers and called Dacor directly. Dacor reviewed the part numbers and told me they do still make the control card for the down draft but not the oven, however the card can be repaired by an Dacor certified company if that is the actual issue. Dacor also informed me that My Appliances Tech IS NOT a certified Dacor repair shop and kindly gave me the names and numbers of certified technicians in the area. I called My Appliances Tech and spoke to Tony to tell him of my dis-satisfaction. He gave me a story about checking with his distributor and perhaps Dacor does not know what they are doing in relation with the part numbers, yada, yada. At this point, I no longer trust My Appliance Tech and guess I am out 90 bucks, but I do have the power of Yelp! My advice to all that read this is to call the manufacture of your product first to get a list of certified technicians in your area, before blindly rolling the dice on none certified technicians that tell you they are certified.

I opened my freezer in the garage this morning and found it wasn’t working. I called Foremost Repairs (answers 24/7) and explained my problem to the representative. She said I would receive a call from a technician in the next few minutes. Tony called me in under 5 minutes and was able to arrive and solve my problem in under 2 hours! Very happy with this company!

Do NOT use this company. On 6/12/18 I called this company because my refrigerator started making a loud clicking sound like it was trying to turn off. Then the compressor shut off. Thirty minutes later the compressor turned back on. Tony was the repair man that came to my home. He proceeds to tell me that he can not diagnose why my compressor turned off because the fridge was now on and working? Say WHAT?????? The only thing this man did was unscrew the nails where my compressor is located. He touched my compressor and said "It's working fine. No need to worry" he says??? The guy spent less then ten minutes (I timed it) looking at my fridge and he was GONE along with the $50 fee just to come to my home. Less then 5 hours later my fridge turned off! Immediately contacted Sears appliance repair. They came out the next day. Told them what happened. The Sears repairman immediately went directly to my freezer in my fridge took the back of the freezer out and found that I had a freon leak. My fridge is completely DEAD. I told the Sears repairman what Tony had said. He was SHOCKED that he told me not to worry and did not even diagnose the issue. Avoid this company. A bunch of CROOKS. I recommend Sears they were thorough knowledgeable and honest.

Tony came and repaired my washing machine. He was polite, came within the window, called first, and diagnosed/fixed the problem quickly. The cost seemed expensive to me, but I have no comparison. It was definitely cheaper than getting a new machine. Tony was professional and even helped a friend who was visiting diagnose a problem with her machine and helped her to get an appointment for her washing machine's problem. Added bonus - Tony is super cute.

My dryer had a different plug than the outlet so I needed to get it changed. I was given a 3 hour window for the technician to arrive. He was late when he finally arrived, and then proceeded to tell me all the things that I did wrong to the dryer and how it just created more work for him... Not sure if that is normal practice but it certainly wasn't appreciated since I had not even worked on the dryer. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to get another company or technician since I had family coming in the day after. I will say that I wouldn't mind giving this company another shot, but I certainly wouldn't give them another shot if they sent me the same technician. Not to mention how ridiculously expensive it was for a fairly quick fix. Not recommended.

After one year my in-cabinet microwave broke, I called Foremost Appliance Repairs Inc., and was pleasantly surprised at the Customer Service and care of my concerns I received. Foremost Appliance Repairs sent out a technician within a few hours of my call. The Technician was courteous and helpful in explaining what needed to be done to repair the microwave. A great Company to call when you need Repairs.
