The store is awesome. Has everything you could possibly need. Might need a coat! It's cold in the back. The checkout isles are only accessible by small wheelchairs - manuals basically. Powerchairs won't fit. The premade food area in the back & the food court to the side SUCKS for vegans, vegetarians & plantbasers. Couldn't get anything! Meat, fish &/or eggs everywhere. Tack on I'm gluten free and the only thing I'd be able to get is cooked rice. Tried to get a sweet potato tempura roll from Lee'sSushi and utterly refused to make it without the tempura (no one else gives me an issue - no diff than sweet potato fries). 🤷🏻♀️Their loss - would have bought a bunch from the premade area and the food court.

If you're interested in Asian food cultures, especially Korean food,this is a must-visit grocery. The bakery in the food court showcases Korean's baking experties, and there are also restaurants serving popular korean dishes. I visited here while traveling from Georgia, but I had no idea Washington D.C had such a high tax on restaurant mealsn A 10% tax is unbelievable!!

Last time, I bought fish cakes here and they had expired in 2023 — I got a refund.
Today, I bought radish and found mold on it, even though I bought it just yesterday.
This is really unacceptable.
H Mart seriously needs to manage their food quality better.
Please check everything carefully before you buy.

I was helped greatly by Serena at Customer Service when someone else took my groceries after I had paid for them. She didn’t have to but she went out of her way to be kind and give attention to the issue. I am grateful for her extraordinary support
