My stylist listened to my request for a hair cut. Great shampoo, and love my new do.

My review is solely on the photography studio. My family and I which includes children with special needs and three dogs were at the Fair Oaks Mall location recently. I was feeling somewhat nervous about the session at first because of the children and dogs but Maya our photographer was great. She made it fun and it seemed as time went by fast. I can't wait to get my photos. My sister was the last one out and mentioned she saw some of the pictures and was impressed how great they came out. Kudos to Maya for dealing with 7 people and 3 dogs.

After setting up an appointment online, I am walking in, when I am called and told that the stylist no longer works there. So Mina, took over the appointment. If you have an appointment here, and it is with Mina, just don't. It's the highest recommendation I can give. She handed me a brush and told me to brush my own hair while she goes and mixes color. Following, she verbally abused my hair! She claimed the lack of care, and health quality of my hair, and said that she will only touch my hair at my own responsibility. Yet, the last two times it was done, was from here. So if there is damage, it is there own fault. She also wanted to chop my hair in half... Two managers were called to the scene, where Mina became argumentative, and had to be told to stop. The worst experience ever - over getting my hair dyed. 0 stars if possible!Service: Hair coloring

Overpriced and poor quality. The stylist broke my hair off and said they could do a style, hair came out nothing like the picture and what was requested.

If it was possible to provide a negative star review...that's what this would be. I visited this location with my boyfriend today to purchase a last minute dress shirt. After looking around 2 floors for an open register to make our purchase we came to a register with a 60+ year old man by name of Freddy. Freddy rang up our purchase and my boyfriend, said that he had a coupon and gave Freddy the code for the coupon. Freddy told him that he could only accept coupons with a barcode, so my boyfriend produced a coupon with a barcode on his phone to be scanned. I should set the scene here that my boyfriend is a fully vaccinated Asian man, with a medical condition that doesn't allow him to wear a mask (not that masks are required), there was a plexiglass divider between he and Freddy and Freddy had a mask on. My boyfriend presented is phone to be scanned and Freddy attempted to take the phone out of his hand. My boyfriend pulled his hand back and said could you please just scan the phone. To which Freddy started getting agitated and and said what is your problem? Give me the phone. My BF said I would prefer that you didn't hold my phone and just scanned it. This sent Freddy into a full blown Karen moment, where he proceeded to yell at my BF "that you people are more dirty than me! I wear a mask and you don't want me to touch your phone!! My boyfriend very calmly said, no I don't, never mind we don't need to purchase this and turned to walk away. The man proceeded to yell at him saying good! Goodbye! Get out. Now We would've just walked away had he not continued to hurl insults that seemed racist in nature. So I asked to see a manager instead and he refused to call one. So I found my way to the offices upstairs and found a manager for myself. While the manager was very apologetic, she said well the best I can do is talk to him and put it in a file for when he receives his review. She then asked if she could ring our purchase up for us, as if I would ever spend a dime at a company that employs racist, bigoted employees who are allowed to behave in this manner. No wonder this company is going bankrupt.

11/29/21 Our next stop on 11/26/21 was JCPenny's Store. Well looking around in this store, I saw a number of dress/outfits I would love to see my wife wear. My wife has made abundly clear she is not a dress kind of woman. Her mother is the same way. Pants/tights only. Nevertheless, I can still imagine her in some of these outfits. I did find a dress shirt for my wife's new job. Now we just need to find some kind of comfortable black dress pants for her. We still have time. The sale associates we met were helpful, but overwhelmed by the number of guests in the building. There was only one fitting room open on the first floor and the lady would have had a harder time managing the other fitting rooms if they were open. Evidently she was the only associate working this section. Staffing is short. I wondered what the hourly wage was? Anyhow, we found what was needed and continued on with our day.

The website says an ombre would be 90 dollars or up. I expected to spend 100-150. When I get there, I was told that a basic black to blonde ombre would be 270 dollars, not including a haircut, wash, blow dry or anything. Rip off.

JCP Salon. Not what I asked for .....they talked about giving service, listening to the customers and making sure they hear what the customer wants so you come back. LOL. Never will will go back and never suggest a yo-yo make man appointment. I wish! JC Penney's is so over priced for what you get. Again will never go back.

So I decided to stop in the mall for a pit stop on my way to Front Royal, VA. I'm almost sorry I stopped. Upon walking in. Your not greeted or anything. Even said Hi to a few employees and it was like I was a ghost or something. They did have the AC on as well as having proper ventilation. There were no carts however to be found upon entering from the upper level parking lot. Also no sanitizer stations either at the entrances. Upon browsing. I noticed mostly all their clothing items are very heavily marked up at this location. A standard men's T-shirt said $30 on the price tag. ???????? ,SEE PICS. Most of the items here were way overpriced. Also in some departments. There was stuff on the floor. Barely any employees on the floor really. Also there is barely any American employees working here. Which I thought was kinda strange. 90% of the staff was of Indian decent. Unlike other JCP locations which do price-matching with their own website. This location doesn't. So since I seen a few Hawaiian shirts that were cool looking I decided to buy them anyway. Even though I was overpaying almost $10 per shirt really. The employees are somewhat friendly here. The employees at the customer service counter and the salon counter were friendly and helpful. But some of the cashiers I asked about price matching with their own website became very defensive like it was their own stuff or something. The general crowd here is normal class. Mainly adults. Some kids & teenagers. The noise level was normal for a retail store. The floors were cleaned. But there was merchandise on the floor in some departments. Everyone was wearing a mask including the employees. Lastly. Upon leaving and inspecting my receipt. I noticed they ripped me off on the 30% off coupon after doing the math. Didn't even add up to 20% even. I just said forget it and NEVER AGAIN.....

Okay, I want to be kind in the middle of the pandemic, and I get that times are tough. But I made a rare visit to the store yesterday and next to no staff, large swaths of empty shelves, and a scary looking men's room and elevator. Those are not doing much to help the situation.

I think they should have negative stars. In line for 45 minutes to return an item. The same line you get into to purchase items. Shelves were bare. All the employees were rude and felt like to customers were an inconvenience.

Took 22 mins to checkout with 3 people in front me. If you are in a rush or have any plans you want to get done for the day don't come here. Absolutely horrible. 1 person checking out the entire store

today me and my friend went in to this store to get ourselves matching panties (don't ask¡), they were in the sale section and were 4.19 supposedly. when we got to the checkout there was no one there and we ended up having to wait for someone, which at first was no big deal. when she scanned the items they came out to 8 dollars each but both of them had the price tag for 4. the cashier called the manager and the manager took like 10 minutes to get there which was honestly annoying. then the manager rescanned said the same thing but instead of helping us out to see if she could give it to us for the marked price she decided to spend another 5 minutes looking online to see if they were the same price. then she scanned the item multiple times and told us if we bought 5 of them they would be 31 dollar. 1)how does that math add up!?? and 2) we didn't want 5 we only wanted 2. after words she didn't believe us and decided to have us take her to where we got them. me and my friend got fed up for waiting there for 25 minutes and didn't wanna have to take her where the were cause this was already a waste of time, that we just left the items and left the store. i'm not gonna lie this was completely ridiculous, she should have solved it for us and gave it to us for the price it said it or only charged us for one since it came out to about the same total if it was actually the price she said. if you can't do ur job as a manager then don't be one!! but the cashier was great and i loved her :)
