Been coming here for oil changes and state inspections for many years. Prices for services outside of inspections are what you'd expect. But when it comes to car mechanics, can't put a price on honesty. Very trustworthy people working here. Most of the low star reviews is based on waiting times, which is kind of out of their control.

I was very frustrated with their self-service payment system at the pump! After several tries I went inside and the young lady STILL didn't know how to load my gas pump properly! Do yourself a favor and just go inside.

I always get my Emission & Inspection from here. Recently, I brought my car here for diagnostic and Brad (the manager) was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this place. They never charge you extra or charge any unnecessary fees.Thank you so much!

I have been doing safety and emission tests here for years but didn't use its mechanic shop. Finally this year, I did an oil/filter change with very a reasonable price and zero upselling for my old car, which is almost a routine conversation at other places. And later I brought my new car to install a set of new wheel lock nuts, again no BS upselling and with a charge significantly lower than my expectations. While waiting at the shop, I also witnessed the mechanic explained the faults needed to pass the safety inspection to a customer and being very transparent of the cost and options the customer has (re-inspection process and encourage them to shop around). This is a place that earns customers trust and gets a high return rate and business without ripping customers off. 100% recommended.

RE: BRAD at Jermantown Shell
I brought in my 2010 Honda Pilot (15 years old, only 60,000 miles) with 6 major mechanical repairs needed, 2 right now & 4 within the next 3 months for the discounted price of +$6,000, with the 2 urgent ones for only $2,700; from the dealership.
After examining my car, Brad explained in details and in lament terms not only how I only needed just those 2 urgent repairs; but also that one them did not have to be through a complete replacement, just 2 parts.
Of course, all with brand new genuine Honda parts; tax included, for $1,644.70.
The 2 parts replacement also directly solved the so-called 3rd issue.
I road tested the car on all these issues and everything reacted as if brand new.
Wow! Thank you Brad. I’ll be back.

I took my car here to get my tire checked out. They had a long line but were able to accommodate me and fix it up super quick! They were really helpful and I definitely recommend them.

I waited over 3 hours for my inspection. Staff very friendly, but their operations were inexcusable. I will not return and I do not recommend this service shop.

All of the mechanics are really good, but for heaven's sakes please teach some customer service skills to the lady in the front desk, i go there everytime and hope she's not there. Sarcastic comments, passive aggressive, not sure what her problem is.

I am writing this while I am in line for inspection. They tried to make waiting in a hot summer queue for inspection more tolerable. They distributed free cold water and donuts. I liked the way they respected to the customers. And they took care of customers in line by sending customers to shade. These small things are lovely.

I have brought multiple cars/suvs here for various needs (state inspections, emissions, oil changes, brakes etc). This shop is not only convenient, but honest and fair. I recently randomly dropped by this busy location for a random favor, and Brad was super accommodating! This will always be my go to local shop.

My 2014 Camry needed to replace one of tire pressure sensor, I asked for estimate from difference gas station, auto shop and Toyota dealer. Jermantown Shell is the one gave me the right price $130. The other shops asked for more or persuade me to replace all 4 TPMS. Brad is the one give me the estimate and he has Chick to give me a ride home because it took about 3 hours to wait for the job to complete. Both guys are very polite and honest. ??and 5 ⭐️ rating.
