I really missed shipping at Lidl after moving from Germany— but found this store near my new house!! This is the cleanest and most organized Lidl store I’ve ever been to (speaking especially about the ones in Europe). The store is always fully stocked with my favorite items and now that the holidays are coming up, they have a huge selection of home goods, foods and treats!
Another amazing thing I love about this store is that you can download the app and clip coupons, and get in store savings.
Best place to get the essentials for great prices ⭐️

I went to Lidl to buy some bread, but my experience was very disappointing.
First of all, the store was not well organized — the bread section didn’t match the labels or prices.
When I asked about the fresh bread, the staff told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. I waited around and asked again after about 25 minutes, but then they said it would take another 30 minutes.
They clearly gave me false information and wasted my time.
When I spoke to the manager, he was very rude and didn’t respond properly to my concerns.
Also, this store never has enough employees, it’s always messy, and you have to wait a long time in line to pay.
This kind of customer service is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their organization and communication with customers.

We discovered Lidi while living in Germany. We really enjoyed shopping at the German supermarket. When we moved to Fairfax, we were excited to see a store from Germany thriving in our local area. Everyone is so friendly at the market. It’s so nice to allow the kids to walk around as well. This is an awesome gem to have here in our area. Hope to see some more German specialties on the shelves. We miss our beloved corn puff snacks we used to get in Germany, banana juice, along with the curry pocket pastry’s, and lingonberry pastries. I would love to see these on the shelves in the future. I am so glad to see cashiers working registers. The one in Centreville is OK but I prefer having a cashier.

Second time buying this at Lidl, just like a lot of their packaging it's not good. When I try to pull the top off, it got stuck and spilled all over my car. Geez! So a $2.99 item now becomes over $100 because I got to get my seats cleaned. It happened the previous time as well, but I thought maybe it was just that bottle

I remember when I first heard of lidl and tried their croissants and I felt like I was in heaven. Fast forward 9 months and it seems like each time I come here, it's messier and messier. I recently saw flies on the croissants and almost threw up. I've ate so many croissants from this location that I'm sure I've consumed at least one or two containmented ones. Absolutely disgusting.
Lastly, the shopping cart area is rarely full of carts or if there is any, the carts belong to Walmart or are filthy. I know you offer lower prices by minimizing staff etc but let's do better. Maybe implement Aldi's cart system to improve the cart issue and have doors for the baked goods? Just some ideas.

Produce is 100% good quality, I’ve been shopping with them since day one.
My first time at the Fairfax location, 11181 Lee Highway, 22030
The person working at register was rude, disrespectful, banging on furniture and the worst frustration showing on his face.
It was a terrible experience.
I hope management see this and does something about it.

I spend 35 mn wating for a second registry to get open while the store manager is in her office and the bakery sales person is behind his counter.
