I purchased a washer and a dryer at Lowe's in Fairfax, VA on July 24th. The entire experience was great. The sales associates that helped me (Jaimie and Sana) were knowledgably, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. From the moment I walked in the store, to the moment my appliances were delivered and installed, everything was great.

A big store near an intersection of route 29/50 and Jermantown road in Fairfax VA. Not easy to find what I was looking for, mouse sticky pads, in the big store. But the workers there were friendly and helped me find them for me.

This Lowe's is one of the most frustrating Lowe's you'll ever go to. They seem to be a smaller store that doesn't carry full inventory. Instead, they seem to be more focused on online order fulfillment. You'd think that would mean that they'd be really good at that. Think again. I've never had a pickup take less than 20 minutes. Its basically a given that they won't know where in the store your order is. You'll wait for 15 minutes for the associate to go pick your order and then he'll come back with nothing and check the computer again. The people are super friendly and you can tell they are frustrated too.
On the plus side, I've never seen a lumber section as well-organized as this one. Even though they have a smaller inventory, the lumber is perfectly stacked. As soon as I pick through a stack, an employee comes through and reorganizes anything that I messed up. The only reason I go to this Lowe's is because of how nice their lumber section is. Whoever is managing the lumber section should be managing the store.

Came to this Lowe’s to get cheap lawn furniture on commute home with the wife. Under 100 bucks. They had it outside. We went in and looked around to see if we liked something better. Saw a nice set with a couple chairs and a table. 500 bucks or so. Cool. They’re not busy it should be quick. 10+ minutes nobody. Lowe’s employees passing by. Stop one. “Sure I’ll get someone for you.” 10+ minutes. Nothing. Saw someone else. “I’m helping a customer. I’ll get someone.” No problem. 10+ minutes nobody. More Lowe’s employees go buy avoiding eye contact. Store’s not visibly busy. We walk out. Came to spend under 100 bucks. Upsold ourselves. Nobody could be bothered. Bye Jermantown Rd Lowe’s. My wife told me you sucked. Won’t step foot in there again.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Lowe's. I attempted to place an order for a custom door multiple times, only to be passed around from person to person with no resolution. After finally reaching someone, I was promised a call back in 10 minutes. Two hours later, I found myself back on the phone, trapped in the same frustrating cycle of being transferred and put on hold. This level of incompetence and lack of customer care is unacceptable.

I am leaving this review for Jamie Peckman. I had some issue with an appliance. And Jamie has been very dedicated in helping me to resolve the issue. He is a customer-centric sales specialist who would go the extra miles to help Lowe’s customers. He ensures every customer feels valued and supported. He, and the specialists like him, are the reason that I prefer shopping at Lowe’s. Thanks, Jamie!

Best thing so far is that I always find what I need at this location. Not crowded. 5 minutes away from home. Staff seems ready to help all the time. An elderly gentleman I asked for a measuring tape didn’t say much - I even thought he ignored me — BUT, he came back with what I needed! He was just like me. Not much talk, but all action! Lol. I looked him up as i was leaving to thank him. Unfortunately didn’t find him. Will catch him next time I visit.

Long line with checkouts remaining closed. Even a bulk of self check out was roped off. A portion of my purchase was done on-line, I had to wait at the pickup counter for 12 minutes alone without an associate responding.
