I was told I could walk in for glasses—no appointment needed. I showed up on Monday, July 28th, and there was a long line with only one staff member. Turns out the glasses specialist wasn’t there, and no one could help—no doctor either. The lone employee was kind and doing his best, but he was left in an impossible situation. Poor management, frustrated customers, and lost business. I ended up going elsewhere as well as the couple behind me. (saw them at the other eye store as well)

Great customer service. Devon Burns took time to help me find frames that worked best with my prescription and face, and went through my order details thoroughly to go over insurance coverage. Super helpful and friendly. Thank you!

I recently visited the office feeling unsure about the glasses I had previously chosen—they were too big and too heavy, and I had a serious case of buyer’s remorse. Thankfully, Liam was there to help! He was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and he made the whole experience so much better. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me pick out a new pair that’s both lightweight and stylish.
Liam mentioned he had transferred from the Mosaic location, and I’m so glad he’s now at the ffx corner location. His positive attitude and genuine care made a big difference. He’s absolutely awesome, and I highly recommend asking for him if you’re in need of eyewear advice!

While I was in the store , the person behind the counter made rude remarks about my husband s parenting based on a 20 second interaction between him and my child standing outside the store . I immediately walked out the store midway through my inquiry process.

Left on hold for 20 minutes so they can check my insurance. Was not able to make an appointment. Proceeding to make an appointment elsewhere.

Amazing customer service! They always take care of me and my family. Alexis has been really nice and helped greatly. They will take time and run your insurance and tell you exactly for what you qualify for and not. I really appreciate that about them.

I usually don’t write reviews but i just had enough with this place.i have been going to myeye doc for couple of years but i have always ignoring the issue and by passing it. But i feel like, i am been getting overcharged for everything. While other places can do the same for much less price.
1st they always overcharge for lens test. For past couple of years i have been paying $80 for lenses exam on top of the insurance. Which i looked into other places , charge alot less. Tricky part is, they only take my $10 at the spot and send me bill later for the rest.2nd i buy lenses from them. I just realized that i have $125 worth to spend towards my lens cost and i can only get 3 month supply in this from them. While i can get whole year worth supply from other places for same amount . We work so hard for every penny we make. I feel like we have been tricked into paying so much more. No offense to the doctors but the kids dealing with insurance and glasses/lens pricing could be little considerate. This was my last visit to myeye doc. I will definitely call the clinic tomorrow and cancel all my orders and i wish i could reverse my eye exam too. But i am sure they will charge the insurance legs and arms. Very very disappointed.

I visited my eye doctor today and every one were nice, Dr zaer was very straightforward and precise with me and gave me the choices .
I was clear what insurance will or won’t cover.
I saw a lot of negative reviews but I definitely had a good experience and expect to get my glass in about 10 days.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at fairfax corner myEyeDr office. It has been over a month since I ordered my glasses, and I am still waiting. The staff’s lack of communication is infuriating—multiple calls and messages have gone completely unanswered. This level of irresponsibility is unacceptable, especially when dealing with something as essential as vision. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for reliable, timely care. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else where they actually value their patients’ time and well-being!
10/10 update response:
I have been calling and being put on hold for 20 min - 30 min!!! So it’s not about me calling and following up because I have been doing that for the past month and no one is giving me an accurate answer. The delivery date in the portal keeps getting changed. I have never experienced such an inconvenience process with any other MyEyeDr location expect this Fairfax corner one!!

The doctor on site, Dr. Zaer is helpful and incredibly patient. I’ve been to many MyEyeDr locations in the DMV area, but this is the location I come to for checkups.
Dr. Zaer is thorough and detail oriented; she helped me a great deal and answered all of my questions. Additionally, Reehan was helpful, friendly and knowledgable.
This is the most professional location I’ve been to—I went back for glasses and was helped again by Reehan and Dr. Zaer since I have light sensitivity and astigmatism. Both of whom were helpful. This is the place to go for people who want good customer service and professional eye care.
