NFCU and their employee hates their clients and treats them as potential threat/criminals. Warning: Do not open an account because it’s a free checking. Every single mobile deposit over $1000 will be considered as too large and flagged as criminal activity. Going back to Bank of America.

I am truly dismayed and disgusted after finding out about an event that occurred at this branch. My 5mon pregnant sister, visits the branch to make a deposit of $440.00 in cash after an ultrasound appointment. As the teller, Illen Lopez, places the cash into the counter it jams, and she says something out loud indicating that this is a "normal yet frustrating" thing. The teller repeats the process to count the cash and proceeds to then tell my sister that she only was provided $400.00 to deposit. The back and forth that occurred after this led to a request from my sister to "check the cameras."My sister was asked to sit in their waiting room as if she was at fault and needing the plead her case. The Branch Manager, Rohit Sikka, meets her 20minutes later "confirming" that they found the $40.00 that my sister already advised was a part of her deposit, which fell on deaf ears! NO apology was given. NO acknowledgment of her 18-year tenure nor of how upset she was and justifiably so. NO empathy expressed to the fact that she was visibly pregnant and made to go through such inconvenience. TRULY disgusting!As a member myself, as well as several other family members, I have never, NEVER experienced this level of unprofessionalism nor stereotyping. It is evident that this particular branch in whole starting from Rohit Sikka need reform. I suggest that training is provided immediately before there is a lawsuit on your hands. Based on a few other comments, I'd say that is the direction. Ileen Lopez, need no longer work there in my opinionAllow me to lastly mention that Illen Lopez not once, but "4 times" ID checked my sister with a flashlight after she provided her own access number! What would I like to know is why that was necessary? If nothing at all, in this life all anyone has is their name. Keeping that name credible and in high regard is so important, my sister, works extremely hard doing just that. How dare you feel the need to question her information by her physical appearance on that particular day. How dare you allow a pregnant woman to bare that level of attack and not offer an apology after YOUR cameras provided proof of her truth.NVFCU shut this location down until a proper reform can take place. This is unacceptable.

There should be a serious investigation with this branch. Racial Discrimination when minorties deposit large checks. If you have a cashiers check or check over $5000 and you are a minority "DO NOT GO TO THIS BRANCH"! I have been a member of this credit union for years.Yes, I left and went to my 2nd credit union and deposited without any problem or unprofessional attitudes.I heard the rumors from one of my work places near this branch, but did'nt have time to risk driving to my normal branch because I had a flight to Italy in 5hrs. But, in order for me to travel and know my money was safe, I left , risked time to drive further from the airport and deposit the check safely and securly in my other credit union account.I know the investigation results found will cause termination of 1 or 2 employees immediatly.

Waited way too long for a rep. I'm all for friendly service but everyone at the desks spent 45 minutes carrying on random conversations unrelated to banking while the waiting area kept filling up.

Navy Federal Fairfax, My comment should be taken as a suggestion I went to this branch for the first time It called my attention the number of employees they have, but more the fact that most caught my attention is that they do not have Coffee? for customers, Obviously I asked why not and the answer they gave me was even worse, if we had coffee for customers we could not give them the rates that we offer ! ... at that time there was only one client and me. now I'm not in a hurry I would like to answer the manager and maybe give you a suggestion ... First When a client asks for something the answer should be OK We will take your suggestion and not try to become smart. Second If you remove one of the bank's representatives, budget will be enough …I think it would be enough to have coffee for your clients and that way they would feel a little more appreciated. PS the Centreville and other branches they have coffee and tea. because of your bad response I have decide to start to move my money to North West federal credit Union where I feel more appreciated. And rates are betters ! FYI.

I was having a bad morning and did not think a branch visit would turn my day around, but it did! These interactions matter! I am thankful to have been helped by David. His genuine and warm persona, in addition to, his willingness and efficiency in assisting with my somewhat tedious cash transaction turned the morning around for me.

Have been waiting for a response for months now from my loan processor no success. No one has reached out to me yet and I am 90 days in since starting. Feels very unsettling and like I am at square 1. Need a round turn on this asap... Time is money
