Went into this store for mere browsing when the lady working there approached and accused my friend and I of shoplifting. This was after we were greeted with directions towards the clearance section.

First of all- me and my friends went here to check out some of the stuff because we are really big stationary fans who were just walking around mosaic- as we stepped in a lady greeted us and we said we were looking around. The lady immediately pointed us at the clearance section (??) - but we mostly stayed at the cards section since a mutual friend of ours was having a birthday soon. We were walking around looking at what types of things they had when the lady started following us. Weird but okay. We were talking (like normal teens do) when she was literally right behind us wherever we went. We were super uncomfortable but she came up to us and asked what we were doing. We said we were looking around again but she lifted her glasses and said “what are you ACTUALLY” doing. Hinting that we were shoplifting??? We were literally just talking about the selection of legos they had. We looked at her confused but went back to looking at the birthday cards. I didn’t feel comfortable at all at the store because she was literally one feet away from hs the whole time and followed us around. We didn’t feel comfortable to even continue looking at the cards so my friend just bought the candle she wanted and we left. Super uncomfortable, bad experience that left a sour taste in my mouth. As a stationary lover- I expected more from the employee and from the store, since for some reason they didn’t mind anyone else at the store but when teens step inside she follows them around and treats us less than and like she wanted us out of the store. Yucky. I can’t even rate it for the stuff there
cuz they lady didn’t even give us space to look around and discuss the type of stationary. Unbelievable

No fountain pens. Great products otherwise. Can't imagine a stationery shop without fountain pens but there it is. Otherwise a great source for everything else.

The Paper Source has everything I miss about the gdays of in-person shopping. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store inventory is broad yet tastefully curated. The prices are pretty reasonable. And I don't have to scroll endlessly through a giant online retailer, hoping that the right item catches my eye. What do I come here for? Definitely cards and wrapping paper. Paper kits and little toys for my kids. Quirky gifts for friends, like a mushroom-shaped lamp or a boba-shaped plushie. Journals and trendy cookbooks. Holiday merchandise, including for Christmas, Hanukkah, and Pride. (The store seems to have a welcoming, inclusive environment.) I wouldn't think that I'd like a chain paper store so much. But this Paper Source is a really cute spot that's worth checking out if you're in the area.
