Quest has the best trained techs of any medical facility I know of. They never have hurt me and I am considered a “hard stick” by most. I am phobic about needles snd hate hospital visits I often wonder why they don’t outsource phlebotomy to Quest where techs never have had to stick me twice.

The Quest technicians or nurses, whatever one calls them, at 10721 Main Street, Ste 1400, Fairfax, VA 22030, were undoubtedly qualified and highly experienced, showcasing their technical proficiency and knowledge of their field. However, their demeanor was abrupt, and they seemed uncaring. While efficiency in Quest Diagnostic Center is crucial, it should never come at the expense of patient attention and care.
Quest professionals or technicians hold a unique position of trust and responsibility, as they often engage with individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Technical skills and experience are the bedrock of your lab practice, ensuring that patients receive the necessary treatments and interventions. However, the healing process encompasses more than just physical care—it requires a human touch, a sense of genuine concern, and the ability to provide decency, comfort, and welcoming manners.
Manners are not mere formalities; they are essential components of effective patient care. A caring attitude can significantly influence a patient’s recovery, enhancing their overall experience and well-being. When Quest professionals or technicians take the time to be kind, and to show care, they foster an environment of trust and safety. This holistic approach can alleviate anxiety, build stronger patient-provider relationships, and ultimately contribute to better health outcomes.
Therefore, it is vital for Quest professionals or technicians to balance efficiency with genuine customer care. The most successful Quest professionals or technicians are those who combine their technical expertise with a heartfelt dedication to their patients' psychological needs. In doing so, they not only uphold the highest standards of lab work but also honor the profound human connection that lies at the heart of their vocation.

Rubia turned my anxiety and stress over a blood draw into a positive and successful experience. Thank you, Rubia! I really appreciate her skill, friendliness, and professionalism.
The location is excellent, and it's just inside the door of the newly-renovated parking structure. It's a snap to park and go inside - love the location.

Had a very nice lady help out and was very understanding even though I didn't have the paperwork in order. This was the best quest experience I have ever had.

Bruce skipped me on purpose and did not wear his lab coat closed ---Story: I went in with an appointment and spoke with Bruce. Sadly, per Bruce the doctor's order had not crossed on the system so Bruce tried to find it. Bruce did the bare minimum with only asking for the date I thought my doctor had sent the fax with the order and did NOT look for any range of dates, or multiple names for the file or the doctor's name. I told Bruce that I could return in 10 minutes with the doctor's order, but he said no that I would lose my spot and would have to go to the standby list. I go home and return with the doctor's order and sign myself in the standby list. The moment that Bruce took a look at me, his face changed. From 10:30am-11:30am, there were lapses of over 10 minutes that they weren't attending anybody, to the point that even on the TV it said that they weren't attending any customers, and they never even called me, and I was next in line. I told myself I was crazy, that they might be occupied. So, when Bruce had no choice, he marked me in the system that he was going to accept me, my name got erased from the list. I panicked because nobody had called me, and they call in the person after me. I tell this other phlebotomist that I was skipped, she got upset with me and Bruce and she turned around and screamed at Bruce why did he accepted me and did not attend me. Bruce screams back. And I stand there waiting even more. Bruce puts me back on the standby list and mind you this had caused them to attend somebody that was listed AFTER me. So, minutes later Bruce has no choice but to attend me, I ask him for his name and Bruce questions me why does he even have to give me his name (when you Quest Diagnostics have a commercial playing on your screen that the phlebotomist has to identify him/herself). Bruce hesitantly gives me his name and asks if I'm going to complain about him. I replied I don't know, because even after all that I didn't know. He responds lucky me. And worst of all, BRUCE DID NOT WORE PROPER PPE. BRUCE HAD HIS LAB COAT COMPLETELY OPENED AND TREATED ME FROM BEGINNING TO END WITH A LAB COAT THAT DID NOT HAVE NOT EVEN ONE BUTTON CLOSED. Quest Diagnostics, I put up with rude employees, and I'm quiet, even that day I was calm but you're putting my health on the line by not wearing PPE properly when I'm immunocompromised. And after Bruce was so mean, and so irresponsible, I have to sadly speak about it.

I never got my results. Terrible service, I would never recommend this place. I spent a week and the results never came. The woman there was rude with a bad, arrogant attitude.

Shandale made my day better. Some household communications had me arriving near close of business, without an appointment, for lab collection materials. Shandale sorted out which lab we needed materials for, made sure I had the detailed instructions and made me feel like I was the only thing she needed to attend to. Every one of us knows how hard that can be. Well done.

The lady drawing my blood had headphones in with music blasting. She asked for name and date of birth and I had to correct her 10 times, I wonder why… felt very uncomfortable with her taking blood from me for this reason.
