Not happy with this location at all, went there twice for my wife, in November and yesterday, found the same technician, unable to draw blood in 2 attempts, same thing in November, a senior tech did it in 1 attempt then but nobody else around yesterday so she sent us to Main street location and the tech there did it in one attempt, even told us this keeps happening where folks are being sent to her! I called the supervisor and she returned the call the next day apologizing and assuring she'll look into it and get back to me. If this keeps happening, I'm not sure why this tech is allowed to work there by herself. I'm not listing names here. Go to Main street location if you must. The tech there is awesome and much more professional, in appearance and attitude.

I had a blood test on Friday, 12/1/2023, and showed up at 7 a.m. to Quest Diagnostics located at 12200 Fairfax Towne Center, Fairfax, VA 22033. After a lady drew my blood, my arm got bruised and sore. Today, after 5 days, my arm is still swollen and sore, and the site is still bruised. I'm so disappointed with my experience with Quest Diagnostics. Imagine if that happened to a child or a disabled person.

Tried to make an appointment here today. For some reason quest is having “routine maintenance” during the middle of the day 1:55pm so I couldn’t schedule online. I called to schedule instead, and to check if they did a specific test, and no one picked up each time I called. Also you can’t leave a voicemail because the mailbox is full for the woman who is the phlebotomist here, so they just hang up on you. Would give zero stars if I could.

Technician named Sardi is extremely rude. Other technicians are great.

Although I did not have a bad experience here, for some reason, the phlebotomist/lab tech who drew my blood did not know what one of the lab orders was, which my doctor had requested. Since she did not know what the lab order was asking, she told me she would not be able to complete that specific order, which is fine with me because I don't know either and I will just make a call to my doctor's office. But when I got my lab results back, that phlebotomist/lab tech had wrote in the notes that I had refused to get that order done, which now has my doctor asking why I refused (I obviously had no idea what she was talking about until Dr showed me). So that just made me really annoyed that instead of writing that the did not understand the lab order, she wrote that I had refused to comply with that lab order. It just doesn't seem like a professional thing to do as a worker. Not sure I will go back or recommend.

Look for Mae to do the job. She is caring, pain free phlebotomist! Helped me save lots of money Qunteferon!

I used to use this location for years and stopped in 2019 after nonstop issues, from the technicians being late to leaving every appointment bruised. I decided to go back since it's the closest location and I regret it. I checked in to my appointment but was not seen for 55 minutes AFTER my appointment time. I was removed from the check-in screen by the technician and was re-listed as a "walk-in." She even admitted this to me and my husband. She took me off as an appointment and took three walk-ins ahead of me. For the entire 55 minutes I had to sit and listen to their TV play Quest Diagnostics programming on repeat about how their patients with appointments always take priority. Avoid this location. Go to the one on Main Street. They're professionally run and have more than a single technician on staff.

It was my first time at Quest Diagnostics, didn’t know what to expect. The location was very convenient for me and it was very easy to find. Right next to the pharmacy inside Safeway. Mal was disinfecting the place as I entered which is always a good sign. She was beyond professional and caring. I did not even feel a pinch as she was so gentle and very good at what she does! Easy 10/10 experience here!I’ll be sure to come to this location when I need my annual checks.

Horrible experience. There was one guy working there. He was rude, aggressive and unprofessional to say the least.I did not have an appointment, I checked in. He did. It once came out to say anything, or greet customers. He took every patient who came after me. Finally, when he finished every one. I went inside and I asked what happened, he yell at me loudly, if I didn’t need the blood work, I would have left. I was treated like I wasn’t patient. I definitely, will not going back or recommend anyone else.

So unknown to me they stopped doing walk-ins which is no problem, especially with COVID. So after telling me they would only see me by appointment I asked if they had any availability today and the tech said no....well after I walked out of their space I went to check online to make my appointment and what do you know there was an availability at 3:30. So the tech basically lied to me, to what save you from having to do one lab? Instead of just telling me no flat out maybe you could have taken an extra two seconds of your time to look at the schedule and give me a truthful answer. Maybe, if you spent less time on your phone you would have also noticed that I was standing in the waiting area for like five minutes while you just sat there. Maybe I should have said something but you look like you were on break. Oh and this place will never answer the phone there. EVER.
