I’ve been to this Safeway a couple times and I always have a good experience. I have used both the self-checkout and pickup services and have not had issues either time. The employees are always helpful and even the managers have been kind and prompt. The store is clean and overall well-organized too. I drive further to go to this Safeway because the customer service and product availability are way better than the one closest to me.

Never any cashier's in the evening. Store deals require app where they push in store pickup and delivery.

Just moved to this area. No signage for where to go for pick up and the manager fobs off responsibility for lack of signage on the development. It took me and my husband thirty minutes to get the manager to fix an issue with pickup, he kept blaming his staff and the complex. Got hassled to my car by two different people trying to get money too. Rank and file employee is nice but management doesnt care about the problems. Extremely unhappy and plan to switch locations.

Prices are too high they only have one cashier on at a time the registers and self-checkout are in some kind of different language and you can't get any help from anybody

I went in to buy a small cake for my daughters 1st birthday. There was no one at the bakery to assist me. After waiting over five minutes and checking behind the counter, I walked to the seafood counter to see if someone could help me. He called for Jojo to come to the bakery, and when she arrived she seemed exasperated that she was called to help me. She rudely asked me what did I want, to which I said that cake in the display. When she handed me the cake I noticed that the price was higher than what was advertised on the display. She said they must have raised the price and didn’t seem to care that the sign for that specific cake was lower than the receipt.
I only went to this Safeway because it was near other stores I had to visit. Go to the Nutley location instead.

A well stocked grocery. I get my lunch to go here. Usually a footlong Italian or ham & cheese sub. Great value!

This has been my go-to for as long as I've lived here (Fairfax). Friendly staff and decent prices. They've got tasty preprepared meals and good bread. Also tons of desserts.

Highly unimpressed with this location. Today I was extremely upset when loading my grocery bag from the self checkout back to my cart - the three employees just standing around/supposedly monitoring the self checkout - upon my bag breaking and the contents falling to the floor, all they did was laugh at me. No assistance was offered, simply they laughed and watched me struggle.
I am extremely upset and frustrated. It was unkind, and being laughed at was despicable customer service.
