I come here all the time and always have a pleasant experience. A very sweet older lady usually checks me out. I came by earlier in the day to get products. At checkout she said there was a deal for buy two get one free on ion products & told me to grab another ion product. I brought it back & got checked out then left… later on I opened the bag and I noticed there’s only two ion products & the third one from the deal wasn’t put in there. I called the store and the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful basically just not even trying to understand what I’m trying to tell her. She offered me a refund but I didn’t ask for that I wanted all the products I just wanted the third product from the deal I was told about. My boss went into the store shortly after the phone call to try to sort something out and solve the miscommunication. The manager was again super unhelpful and said there was nothing she could do and that her cameras don’t work so she couldn’t make sure what I was saying was true. I understand where she’s coming from but I was being honest and clear with her I had my email receipt and printed receipt and brought the bag with products. The receipt had the “free” product from the deal on there I just didn’t physically receive it. It was just one product missing I feel like all of this could’ve been avoided. On the way home from the store I received a call from them offering me the ion product and an extra booster and said the older lady might’ve forgot to put the product in the bag. But when my boss was there the manager said there was no way anyone could’ve forgot to put something in the bag which is ridiculous because it could happen to anybody. Overall I come here very often and never have any issues so this whole experience was beyond me. The elder lady is great if she did forget to put the product in the bag that’s totally okay I’m not mad at her I just think management could’ve handled this totally different.

Whether it's a replacement guard, clipper spray, or just some bleach and toner for my S/O, I'm helped graciously by the employees here. Not sure what the disdain is about in the other reviews, I definitely wouldn't hesitate to come back here.

Sad to see how bad this location has become over the years. The level of customer service we had to provide back in the day when I worked here was no joke but now it's an absolute joke. I've only had one decent experience & that was because I found what I needed by myself. The lady working today (5/4/23) walked the store asking EVERYONE else except myself if they needed help or a cart but walked passed me as if I didn't exist. I just walked out because there are far better stores in that same area for hair products. Sally's is convenient because it's small but not worth it at all....

Update: 2023 - clearly new management, so much better! Ladies working here are helpful and kind. I went in a Friday midday.Horrible. The Asian lady that’s been there is rude doesn’t help whatsoever. She refused to check the back for me, I remember this girl from last time I was there and her terrible attitude has not changed!! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Nice associate but they didn't have any of the products I usually get from beauty supply stores. Tiny store not much product.

This place often doesn't have what I need even if I call to verify first. If you need something from here I recommend you just look for it at the grocery store instead. You'll probably have better luck.

I came in to buy some hair dye (Manic Panic has been my go-to) and found it right at the front as I came in. I had initially gone to the storefront in Vienna but found that it had closed its doors. The cashier was very friendly, and I was able to get in and out within a few minutes.Overall, quick service, nice staff, and no complaints here!

Everyone here is just rude and honestly they never have anything in stock. If you disrupt their conversations and ask for help they don’t even talk to you in a nice way. Just stare at you like you’re going to steal everything. Honestly, hire people who have better customer service skills because this is just downright rude now.

They have a very poor customer service at Fair Lakes store. The associate over there racially profile minorities by standing and watching you if you're a minority while going to the back room if the person is white. It has happened to me three times.

I have shopped here quite a few times. Never had a problem. Tonight I went in to return some stuff. It took the manager 45 minutes to try to do it. I had to keep repeating my phone number to her. She was very rude. First time I've been here and had someone who is very unpleasant. Will not go back again. Maybe she needs a frontline leadership program. When I ask for her name I was told she's the manager.

Me, my Mom, and my Sister went to the store to get something. They had Cyan hair dye but that’s not important. The customer service was great. They forgave us for accidentally spilling something and they were also very nice. I had to give them a 5. Very great

Unable to make a return I made online. @Corporate - you need to make this process easier, maybe include the bar code in the confirmation. I was told I need to come back during the support desk hours? Seems ridiculous - make this easier on your team.

Unfortunately, I echo the rest of the reviews state ...bad customer service at the Sally's Beauty Supply at Fair Lakes. I let them know today that I would not be back. Following me around the store, low inventory (pre covid) was enough for me.

Smallest Sally's I've ever been to, but the two young ladies working here were very pleasant and helpful to myself and the other shoppers. I was able to find what I needed, plus a few extras. They no longer offer a military discount, but they do have a rewards program.
