Sorry to say, but I had a very poor experience at this office store. There were very few workers here to assist me with my needs…..I simply needed help to print a few documents….the male assistant said he had very little time to help…..I left the out of frustration with unfinished tasks…..will not go back. ??

Updated Review:I hate when I have to go in here. EVERYTHING on the website is cheaper. Ran out of copy paper today and went in because online they had a sale on the 10 reams of Hammermill paper for $39.99. When I got in, they had it "on sale" for $55. After a bit of back and forth they said they could only price match it to the "normal online price" of $45. Save yourself the trip and place an online order. Or heck, just do pickup in store.Original Review:Always check prices on the website first.This has happened to me a bunch of times. I guess it's not really the stores fault, but rather the company itself. I'm leaving a 2 because the staff is helpful and have always price matched the website, but you should be aware that these are drastic price differences. Went in for some labels, online they were $8 and in store they were $15. Went to go get a chair, online it was $150, in store "on clearance" it was $200 and had damage from being open box. I only go here if I'm in a pinch and always have the site opened on my phone.

Except for a goat cheese kid who looks like a goat who doesn't have an answer to anything, the place is okay as an emergency store when I don't have enough time for an Amazon delivery. Hope they collaborate with Amazon like Hudson Nonstop stores at airports to make it autonomous.

Terrible place to work at. I wish I could give 0 stars. First week was okay. Second week micromanaging came to play. Hard working employees are considered lazy, while the careless management take their precious time and ignore customers. If you do your work correctly, you still get disrespected. I don’t recommend shopping here or working here. It’s the smallest staples in Northern Virginia, you can other places that have the product in stock without disrespectful employees.

I have been coming here for about 2 years and I won’t go to any other Staples! I drive all the way from Fredericksburg VA just to receive the courteous and respectful service from Casey!!! She is always so pleasant and helpful to me and everyone that is in the store. She knows how to multitask so well! Thank you Casey for making my experience and this store so great!

Garbage, ordered something online for pickup here within the hour. Arrived earlier than expected, only to get an email that it's not in stock. Go inside, yep... 2 on the shelf but not at the 47% off as listed online. When Staples goes under, I won't act surprised.

No bad experiences with the staff in all areas of the store. I’ve seen a number of rude, impatient customers there but the staff try to be helpful and as patient as they can.

The staff in Faifax Store not friendly. They treat the customers with very bad manners. Very uncomfortable store. Staff do not listen to clients requests.

Very rude and lazy workers at the printing station. I went in to print a poster picture for my fathers funeral and needed help printing it. I asked one of the 2 ladies there for help (Mel was her name) and she quickly said you stick it in the copier and hit copy that’s it and didn’t let me finish talking to explain what I needed was a poster not a copy. Then when I asked for help with making it she just told me to use the app and I said okay I needed help navigating because it was confusing me on how to do it so this other worker came and was helping me (a paying customer!) and she seemed confused as well and was trying to figure it out. Then a few minutes later WHILE STILL AGAIN HELPING A PAYING CUSTOMER Mel comes back and tells her she’s taking too much time helping me and to leave me to do it. I couldn’t believe that she said that in front of me when I’m there because I need a service from them. I’m not there to get things for free I’m there because I needed something and I was going to pay. I’m sure it’s part of their job to help customers! We all go on there for different things and unfortunately I was there for a picture of my father for his funeral and that was the last thing I needed during this hard time. Very poor customer service. you should always be kind to people because you never know what they’re going through. Prior to me this lady was picking up certificates she ordered and had the copies on her phone of what they were supposed to look like and they didn’t come out how they should’ve and again Mel was very rude to this lady and saying it’s not her fault they came out bad and she can’t do anything about it and the lady was very polite and trying to work with her to pick up her order and Mel again kept repeating it’s not her fault that the printer didn’t do the job right and didn’t offer this lady any help or even an apology for her order coming out wrong when she ordered ahead of time. Honestly I am very disappointed to see that there’s people like this being hired to work at a place with CUSTOMERS and they treat them that way. I hope something is done because that is not right. I didn’t get the help I needed and ended up just walking out. I drove to Office Depot the next day to get it and they know how to help customers without making them feel like they’re a waste of time. Do better when hiring people.

I rarely write any negative feedback but my experience at this location today is very frustrating, the people working at this store were extremely rude and lazy when I visited, regardless all the advertisements staples put out for tech recycling, they refused to take my recycles, even with a huge staple poster right on their face broadcasting the opposite, and they were doing nothing but chatting to each other at the time.I would give this store zero or negative rating if that were possible.

I don't usually write negative reviews, but I haven't met anyone this rude in a long time. The lady with the star tattoo on her right temple was extremely rude. I understand that many people are not paid enough to be courteous to customers, but that was unacceptable. I went to the store for a passport photo, I walked inside trying to figure out where I should go take a photo, the ladies inside the printing section were chatting and laughing, they saw me looking around but didn't ask anything.I finally noticed a photo background on the right hand side. I walked there, and the star tattoo lady stared at me as if I had just murdered her loved ones. I told her I was here to take a passport photo; she was still chatting with another two people and laughing. She walked toward me with her angry face, did not greet me, did not ask me anything, and went back to the register to get the camera and other things ready. She finally approached me with a camera, and when I said, "one sec, Let me take off my hoodies," she said, "it's up to you." With her signature angry face.Of course, it's up to me, I do whatever I want with my passport photo?...this was the only conversation we had. Ridiculous.

Do not shop here, is my advise. I had purchased a printer cartridge from this Staples which turned out to be defective. Upon requesting exchanging it for one which is not defective the manager stated he couldn't return it because I had opened it. Can you see how stupid one must be to not realize that it is impossible to know if something is defective prior to actually using it? My reply was that I was not suggesting that they resell a defective printer cartridge. His advise was to contact HP.Just a terrible operation with no concern for the customers. I can buy directly from HP. There's no purpose to having a big box store if they aren't going to be customer friendly.
