I was not happy with my hair or Christiana. It was practically black and l asked for a warm brown gloss. I assume it's because she let me process longer than she told me she was going to because she was watching an anime show with her head phones in while doing my hair and waiting for me to process. I also told her that I only wanted an inch off with minimal layers and she proceeded to take off 3 inches and 6 inches maybe closer to 8 inches the front with extremely blunt face framing and layers. I also specifically told her I wanted my hair parted in the middle, and she proceeded to cut it at a side part. Nothing was blended. When she was curling my hair she put no heat protectant or oil first and I could see and smell it burning. It felt like she was rushing to close because the other stylist left early. I was expecting to pay $55 for the haircut and $80 for the gloss because she confirmed with me that that was what we were doing in the beginning. Then she charges me $140 for an all over color which was not what I asked for and she wouldn't admit whether she made a mistake and permanently dyed my hair or if she decided to over charged me. And she refused to give me an explanation and just told me I was wrong and there's no such thing as colored gloss. l've been doing colored gloss for years and have never had an issue with any salon, it has always been $80 or less. She sounded upset with me because my hair wasn't how I asked it to be. I also went home with black stains all over my neck as well as stains on my expensive sweatshirt. She never even told me that she got anything on me and never apologized either. I have never in my life had an experience like this and I am so disappointed.

Christiana Acheampong did my daughter's hair. It got very damaged from all the heat and flat iron that she used. My only choice is to wait for it to grow and cut all the damaged hair. It was a very bad experience and I would not recommend anyone to go to her.

left in tears after my first experience today my hair is patched and 3 different colors and I am soaking wet paid 200 dollars and the lady with the blond hair at the front desk is extremely rude & unprofessional& unapologetic she was not the one that did my hair but had a problem with me saying that I was not happy And how good the hairstylist is and trying to gaslight me and force me to like it the lady who did my hair did apologized and want to fix it but to be honest she only did that when I started to cry because of how bad it was they don’t like to admit when a mistake has been made the other ladie was very nice and the cut my daughter had was good

This was my first visit to Hair Studio & Spa, and it won't be my last. It can be challenging to find a stylist who is a good fit. When I sat down in Christiana's chair, it was evident to me that I was in the hands of an expert and master of her art. She quickly and easily gave me the best haircut and style I've had in a very long time. I really felt relief that I'd found someone with her talent. I will absolutely be a repeat customer. Thank you!

I love getting my hair done by Chanel!!! She's ver neat and detailed with her work and makes sure to always evaluate how to best do my hair. I got my highlights, cut, and styling by her and it turns out perfdct each time. I always trust her to do an amazing job and would highly recommend her!!

I could not wait to get home to provide my experience with Christiana. Allow me to provide some background: someone inexperienced gave me highlights that resulted in me cutting off all the blonde. My hair was very short. 1) I had not been to a stylist in over 2 years, 2) no heating tools on my hair what so ever in more than 2 years (complete virgin hair) 3) I have been doing self trims, 4) my ends were brittle and dry, 5) I have naturally biracial curly hair [3b/3c/4a], and 6) I relocated here not long ago. I have been hesitant to go to any stylist and would have preferred to just do self care, but I had to realize I needed more than I could provide.
As I walked into the salon, her smile was comforting. We talked as though we were old friends catching up on life. Her shampooing style was easy on the scalp. After blow-drying, my hair was very uneven. Instead of cutting a lot to make it even, she suggested layering and focus on strengthening and growth for future visits. She flat ironed and ONLY DID 1 PASS-THROUGH. My feels softer than it has in a long time. I can run my fingers through it, and it does not get stuck on tangles. I am extremely happy with the results and panning to return in a few weeks for the plan we have in place. Do not hesitate to visit Ms. Christiana, you will be pleased.

I’ve been getting my hair done here with Christiana for a few years. She’s an absolute angel and genius rolled into one. I like to dye my hair a million colors and she’s always does amazing things while keeping my hair healthy. Her work lasts for months and I receive compliments everywhere I go!

I had a haircut with Christiana Acheampong and it was the best haircut I’ve had in 5+ years. She was awesome. You can tell she understands hair and she just has that something extra. This place has really gone down hill. The front desk people are terrible! It’s sad because the stylists are great but I’m tired of all the problems I experience when trying to make an appt. I frequently get calls back to change something about my appt.
