My husband and I are extremely happy with our decision of choosing the Goddard school for our 3 year old daughter. The facility is very modern, clean and safe. Teachers are caring and have gotten to know our daughter well, and they have been great at communicating. My daughter in particular loves Nature class, which is once a week, the children get to explore different things in the community garden. And of course she loves her time in the playground in the park every day.
The owner, Sanjeev, is very knowledgeable with child development and is committed to make families feel like they belong to a community. The school is very diverse, which was something we were looking for. My daughter talks with so much joy about her school, her new friends and teachers, and is always excited at drop off and runs to hug her teacher every morning!

After trying multiple daycares for our 2 year old son, I am so happy that we landed on The Goddard School of Fairfax! His teachers have been so caring in helping to ease his transition to the school and his adjustment has gone seamlessly! Thank you Goddard for bringing so much relief to us as parents knowing that our child is in a safe and joyous environment.

ENROLL! That's IT! You will not regret it. You will see a difference in your children and you certainly will pay for quality. Too bad Goddard doesn't go up to high school but if they did, what does that tell you? I would keep mine enrolled up to then. DO IT. What are you waiting for? A Truly Exceptional Experience at The Goddard School of Fairfax
We feel incredibly fortunate to have found The Goddard School of Fairfax for our son’s early education and development. From the very beginning — when our son started at just 6 months old — the teachers, staff, and leadership demonstrated an unwavering commitment to nurturing his growth. As first-time parents, this was a tremendous relief. Their focus on all aspects of child development — physical, emotional, and cognitive — made a world of difference, especially as our son was becoming more mobile and curious about his surroundings.
The school’s staff is both caring and professional, fostering an environment where children thrive. Their regular communication keeps us deeply involved in our son’s progress. We receive feedback almost daily, and the quarterly parent-teacher conferences provide thoughtful insights and development plans. Their transparency and dedication help us feel confident that our child is in the best possible hands.
We also appreciate the use of their app, which provides daily reports, complete with detailed descriptions of activities and adorable photos and videos. It’s a wonderful way to stay connected and see firsthand the fun and learning that happens throughout the day.
The variety of toys and learning materials they offer onsite is carefully chosen to match each child's proficiency level. Watching our son engage with new toys and activities as his skills develop has been so rewarding. In addition, the near-daily arts and crafts projects he brings home are heartwarming and a joy to see — a clear testament to the creativity and effort the teachers put into fostering self-expression and fine motor skills. These projects often follow seasonal and monthly themes, which keeps things exciting and helps our son explore new ideas, holidays, and concepts in a fun and engaging way.
Another standout feature is the nearby public park they visit regularly. Rather than relying solely on an on-site playground, this offers children a valuable experience of “walking to the park” and learning real-world skills like safely navigating a crosswalk (albeit through a rarely used parking garage). It’s a thoughtful way to add another dimension to their development and exploration.
The leadership at the Fairfax location deserves a special mention. Sanjeev, the owner and a Fairfax native, clearly brings his passion for child development into everything he does. His presence and dedication have created a school culture that feels like a second home.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Goddard School of Fairfax. It’s a place where children are not just cared for, but truly nurtured to reach their full potential. If you’re looking for a safe, loving, and developmentally focused environment for your child, look no further. This school is a godsend!

We had an excellent experience at the Goddard School of Fairfax, and only left the school for a more convenient school location. The owner and directors are communicative and caring. The school is modern and clean. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been at Goddard for over a year. Sanjeev, the owner, is so passionate about child development and it's reflected by how the school is run.
The teachers are great at what they do. Sanjeev and Bailey, the executive director, are very knowledgeable about child development and have even provided advice on subjects that weren't related to the school. Much appreciated!
They say the first 5 year of a child are important for physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development. This school tackles all that.
Just yesterday at a birthday party, a parent of a daughter that attended Goddard Fairfax said her daughter was so well prepared for kindergarten at Goddard.
I'm glad my daughter is enrolled here.

We were seeking a structured classroom environment close to our home and we have been quite pleased with Goddard in Fairfax City. While childcare costs have certainly increased since pre-2020, the results we see vs our previous structured daycare experience are well worth the expense.

Our son joined the Goddard family around 18 months old after a fairly abysmal experience at another daycare. From day 1 we knew Goddard was different. They cultivate an amazingly warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment and culture. The teachers are all top notch, educated, and clearly care deeply about the children. The staff and director/owner are awesome and when you talk to them you’ll feel like you’ve known them for years. Just a great learning environment overall that also allows the kids to be kids and thrive in their own personality and identity. We love the school and more importantly our now 2+ year old toddler loves the school and is flourishing in every aspect. We highly recommend this school!

We recently enrolled our twins at The Goddard School of Fairfax. We kept them home for the first year and the idea of putting them in daycare was scary to us. They had been in the care of family since they were born. But my husband needed to return back to work full-time and now that they were mobile it was a lot for Grandma to take on full time. We did our research trying to find child care that we felt comfortable with. It was a hard road to navigate! Enter Sanjeev Patel and his School, The Goddard School of Fairfax. We met with him to tour the school and get all of our questions answered. He was very kind, warm and informative. He let us know that his son attended the infant class. That immediately put our minds at ease. As a father and owner, he was trusting of his staff to care for his child. Our decision was made easier because we loved how approachable Sanjeev, his wife Roshani and all the teachers were. We loved that the facility was brand new. And we loved the curriculum, it wasn't just a daycare, learning was at the center of it all. The first couple weeks were very hard for us as new parents dropping off our twins, but Sanjeev, his wife and all the staff made us feel comfortable and helped us ALL transition, they understood. We are very grateful for that. I told my cousin that lives in South Carolina about 'The Goddard School' and she recently enrolled her second born baby. She wished she would have done something like this for her first. She loves the facility she found down south.

We love the Goddard School of Fairfax! The school admin/staff are extremely warm and welcoming! Any concerns we’ve had regarding our child, they’ve promptly addressed and worked as a team with us to resolve any issues. Our child has made so many bonds with the staff and students and the school. We know that our child is in a safe/secure environment where she is growing and learning!

Everything is amazing! Beyond the education (which is superior), the teachers, staff, and owners are all top notch! They are kind, knowledgeable and super friendly--always going above and beyond for the kids and parents. And most importantly, they personally know every student and treat them like their own.My child is so excited for school every day and runs in with a big smile for all the teachers and students. My child's development has been extraordinary, from learning her first words to walking, eating solids, and making real friendships, I am in awe!I looked at 8 schools before enrolling and as soon as I met Sanjeev and Afriyie I knew immediately this was the the right place and they continue to exceed my expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a warm, nurturing, happy (and clean :) environment.

We joined Goddard of Fairfax about 6 weeks ago. Our daughter is 2 1/2 and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the childcare. We have seen a noticeable positive difference in our daughter’s verbal, gross, and social-emotional skills in just a short of amount of time. The facility, teachers, and curriculum are wonderful. The teachers are caring and truly stick to the curriculum with engaging activities.
