Taco Bamba is so good the rest of this place could burn down and I would still give it a 5. Parking kinda sucks though.

I have learned a great deal about University mall operations and Van Metre management in the last few days. What I have learned is extremely troubling.Dar'ron Weaver is responsible for cutting my sons bike lock and moving the bike to a storage area last Saturday. Mr. Weaver is not even property manager at the University Mall. He was there as a Van Metre employee on another matter when he took it upon himself to vandalize my bike and sequester it away. He apparently asked no one for permission of his unlawful actions, nor informed anyone after he wrongfully appropriated my property.Mr. Weaver did not inform the Sentry security guard who came onto shift on Saturday at 6pm of his actions which took place at about 4pm. So when we first discovered his larceny, the security guard could not help us because she had no information about the matter. The security guard told us that she also does not have access to the security tapes so she could not help us figure out who stole the bike.Nelson Fuentes, current fairfax university mall building engineer has never enforced mall signage in this same manner. He said there is nothing he could do about Mr. Weavers vandalism.Muhamed Talha, the current Sentry security guard on duty said that Mr. Weaver needs to be retrained and that no one who works at the mall has done anything like this in the past and that bike parking enforcement should not include breaking locks and confiscating property in this manner.Van Metre administrator Sharon Parkison told me that she is not in a position to make things right. She insists that posted signage on the property gives mall employees the ability to vandalize supposedly improper parked bikes and seize patrons personal property without notice for indefinite periods of time. Therefore, I should just be grateful that my bike will be returned at all and tough luck about the lock being cut and the stress this situation has caused. After months of emails and phone calls, Van Metre finally made this situation right.

Great range of shops, restaurants, and activities, including movies, coffee shops, Thai food, and tae kwon do. A one stop shop for fun and essentials.

Amazing shopping center. You have the amazing and iconic university mall theater." The prices went up after covid, but it's still worth it, and the popcorn is the best around. There are great places to eat as well, and the comic book store is one of my favorites. I got my favorites plush from there. Absolutely amazing shopping center, so I'm so glad to have it in the area and fit perfectly for all the gmu students.
