No option to give this establishment 0 star, that is what they deserve. Rude service, and very unprofessional. I went for a passport renewal and was denied because of my expired license. they turned me away with a hurry without explaining that there is an option to present a secondary ID. After some research On the US GOV Page I discovered that is possible to renew your passport with a expired lisence as long as is combined with another secondary ID. Voters Id, SS card, Year book picture, Identity Affidavit and many more options. I guess they were in a hurry to chill in the back. I asked the woman " how can I renew a passport with expired license, or renew my license with an expired passport" She said " That is your problem" WOW customer service....After three weeks I finally received my passport thanks to a Post office located at Manassas, much of an improved experience and staff who actually care about you. So yeah... chingchangchong lady if you are reading this, remember YOU CAN RENEW YOUR PASSPORT WITH AN EXPIRED LISENCE, do your homework.

We’ve all had terrible post office experiences however, today I had GREAT interaction and felt compelled to leave a positive review. Anwar helped me with an envelope that was returned to sender, and another package that was a gift for a friend. Anwar took the time to insure both packages arrived on time (peak holiday season) and at the most affordable rate. You put all these negative reviews to shame, Anwar. THANK YOU!!!

mostly I have found the staff helpful and friendly, and the location is convenient, no problems parking.

The rudest person I’ve ever seen on the universe is here in the post office, Fairfax every day ALL DAY LONG. Watch out this woman called “YOUNG”Asked her a simple Post Office question and she looked at me into my eyes and didn’t bother to answer. So rude the whole time she was processing the stuff talking like a recorded messages. All of my colleagues experience the same thing with this person.

Trying to park in the P.O. lot for the 22031 zip code is near, or next to impossible. Since the new townhomes were built across the street, the P.O. employees take up nearly all the available parking spaces, leaving perhaps 5 spaces for customers. I realize the townhomes took away parking spaces for employees, but something must be done. Whether it’s to enlarge the lot, or park employees cars in the spaces unoccupied during the day, that the mail vehicles are otherwise parked. I’m simply attempting to stop in to check a P.O Box for mail. PLEASE! Do SOMETHING!

I've gone to this USPS a couple times in past years. It's by no means a fast experience, but it wasn't bad. Looking at different USPS locations across northern virginia, it seems most are rated 2/5 or worse. So if you're trying to find a well rated location, you might just want to go to the closest one instead. They are all pretty poorly rated no matter where you go

Store hours really fit my schedule (opened earlier than other offices). Service was professional and they were able to solve my problem quickly.

Asian ladies have poor customer service skills. In addition they are incompetent, extremely rude and hard to understand. I received good service only from Anwar.

I visited the USPS “Post Office” on 3601 Pickett Road, Fairfax, VA 22031 on 2 different occasions July 18 & 26 of 2023 and had an extremely disappointing experience. The employees were incredibly rude, and the overall customer service was the worst I've encountered. Not only were the employees rude, but they also lacked basic knowledge about their own services. They couldn't answer simple questions about shipping tracking packages, leaving me feeling frustrated and confused.there was no effort made to keep customers informed or updated about the delays and their mistake , an apology for their mistake would have been nice but the lack of communication and organization only added to the frustration of the already unpleasant experience.I understand that post offices can be busy, but that is no excuse for the consistently poor customer service I encountered. I've been to other post offices where employees were helpful, friendly, and efficient, which makes this particular branch's attitude even more disappointing. But the manager was nice, he tried to resolve the first issue and make sure I received my lost and misplaced package, but in in general the employees' rude behavior and lack of customer care left a lasting negative impression on me, and I will be seeking alternative options for my postal needs in the future.

Consistently the worst post office. If you put mail on hold, they will either lose it or not deliver it when they are supposed to so you have to chase it down at the post office over several days. They never pick up their phone. I have had clerks tell me an address I have used for 30 yearswas wrong. Generally, an awful experience every time. I typically willdrive to other post offices, rather than this one just to avoid them when possible.

Worst service of all. I get the not delivered notice from this USPS every time but we received packages from Amazon, Walmart and a matress from IKEA. The driver is lazy and does not deliver to apartments.Asked them about this and they say some packages have been lost in the past and we decided to not deliver to these buildings. But I think the driver is busy instead, because we receive from other carriers all the time.

Still the worst operation only rivaled by the DMV. Pickett USPS is the worst. When you have a package delivery and call, you get a long recording and then told to wait for the next rep. It then conveniently goes to a fast busy signal and disconnects. For third time I get a notice that the driver could not deliver my package, yet I received two packages from Amazon and UPS at the same time USPS driver said he could not get access ???? He obviously did not try. The So-called Post Master General at that office is useless. To operate worse than the DMV says it all.

After entering all the data for shipping 3 packages on the self service kiosk the card reader wanted a pin for a credit card. Total fail.
