I appreciated the fact that the infant medicine is both in the medicine aisle and baby aisle. Little conveniences like that make my day!

I shop here twice a week. I spend at least $500 per month. This store is clean, well stocked, competitively priced and a convenient location. They also offer $10/$20 coupons from time to time and provide discounts to seniors and veterans as well. The down side is certain staff members. I don't believe anyone there has ever been taught how to bag groceries. And about half of them can be downright rude and with no reason. I think a refresher course on customer service and how to handle the merchandise would take my average shopping experience from a three star to a five star overnight...

I don't love this place but compared to Giant or Safeway it's phenomenal. Prices are reasonable, when they have specials they seem to be actually good, and the food for the most part is fresh. If you don't have time to go to Wegmans it's a great alternative.

I order in person, cathering food for our party a week before. H-1 we called to make sure our order is there. It took a while but they found our order paper. Today we pick up late. NOTHING READY. No food. Nothing. Even the manager can't help at all. We can only wait. They redo yesterday food because they wont make it on time if they make new. Nothing like we order at all. We order fruit plate, they write food plate. We didnt order chicken sandwich, they only have chicken sandwich yesterday. Horrible experience. Never order chatering from harris teeter fairfax.

Went to HT last week for steaks and the gentleman behind the counter (i think his name was Nick or Nicky) was so helpful and knowledgeable. He cut my steaks perfectly. Love going to that store.

This is my go-to location as I can walk to it from work. If you ever have the chance to encounter the Customer Service Manager Cory, he truly embodies kindness, going the extra mile, and he radiants are the goodness people want to be around. The organization is lucky to have such a great individual working for them.

Good deals and clean! Sketch people working there. Workers at the enterence/exit just straight up staring, not saying anything, knodding, or smiling. Made us feel weird when we were leaving.

It's hard to find good produce these days but HT needs to pay more attention to the wasted/expired produce in their store. Nobody wants to look at brown wilted green beans! Take it off your shelves! I also used to go there specifically for their Boars head deli meats and cheese and they never slice it how I ask, and is always just thrown in the bag very sloppy. When they advertise their weekly specials, they are almost always sold out same day or they didn't have the product to begin with. I keep coming back because the staff is nice and it's convenient. But it used to be a lot better/cleaner. Ann C

They are ok in general but they still use stone age systems. I think they need to hire an IT person. 1. They don't accept apple pay. 2. They don't offer contactless payments (like tapping the card instead of insetting) 3. It takes longer than usual for the payment to go through 4. They have very limited range of organic options 5. They have a confusing layout/process in the cashier area. People get confused which side she should go and which side the cart should go. I wish they can fix these issues to provide a more efficient and pleasant experience.

This store is awful. We would come here because they have a few expanded flavors of mixed nuts, frozen breakfast items, marinades, and chips that we don't find elsewhere, but the prices are so much higher and most of the dairy items are days from spoiling, we won't be going back. Seems everyone else knows this store sucks too because it's always nearly empty. But of course that also means it's empty of workers, so if you ever need help finding an item you're out of luck. I couldn't get someone to help me find canned pineapple juice. The guy who tried wandered in circles and wasted my time following him around the whole store when he didn't even know where he was going. I wound up having to retrace the whole store myself to buy items from all the aisles he dragged me up and down which is very frustrating for a person with a physical disability and asthma who struggles to breathe in their mask. I really wish he had just said " I don't know where it is maybe let me get someone else to help you" instead of starting at the front of the store weaving in and out of almost every aisle until we got to the back of the store and then shrugging and saying they must be out... And yet I found the canned pineapple juice on the one aisle he didn't seem to take me down. there are also hardly any people ever working the cash registers, so you are more inclined to use self check out, but at self check out the machines don't even accept Apple Pay and whoever they have standing to help with self check out is always so incompetent and so distracted and wandering off to do who knows what, that I have literally been in the self checkout line with just 5 items, needed help with something bc their shitty machine was glitching and then waited so long to get assistance that I just abandoned my groceries at the self check out and left the store. I'm sure if I'd just stolen the 5 items they would have neither noticed nor cared.

Instead of prioritizing customer satisfaction, one of the current managers decided to refuse my request for another box of cereal after it fell out of my cart. 5 dollars, that's all it was, & she claimed it would abuse her to lose money. Not friendly customer service at all.

I had made a mistake while purchasing online for a pickup order. In calling, to see if I could get a price fix over the phone, I came across some of THE BEST customer service I have ever experienced! The gentlemen I spoke to were kind, polite and quick to fix MY mistake. I am definitely going to shop here way more often!

Mid-upper range grocery store that we frequent more than others because of a good range of in stock items, good Vic deals, and good produce. Nice staff and good hours.

Three stars because the produce is usually decent and when there is a VIC sale, prices are good. Kudos to their daily hot deli specials- pork loin, turkey breast, chicken etc. Their subs are decent though prices have gone up. I remember the $5 foot long Friday's and sub rewards. The store is also well lighted and clean. In store Starbucks is a nice touch and Debbie at the checkout is one of my favorite cashiers. Have known her for years. Cons- non VIC items are pricier than other stores, limited organic section, slow and limited service at checkout and the deli. It took one lady 15 minutes to give me 1/3 lb of ham and turkey. I was the only customer. Still astonished she was slow as molasses and not friendly.

The prices are unbelievable and the store is always so clean! They are constantly running BOGO offers and are so much better priced than other stores in the area!
