Review:
Yesterday around 11:30 AM, I went to the store to pick up a coffee machine I had reserved, and I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Even when I called ahead to confirm the order, the woman who answered the phone was already rude and unpleasant. When I arrived at the store, a kind staff member was helping me when the same woman (wearing a dark pink or fuchsia blouse) interrupted and took over the interaction in a very confrontational manner.
She didn’t let me finish a single sentence — every time I tried to explain something, she cut me off with a negative or dismissive response. Her tone was harsh and unkind. It was so uncomfortable and embarrassing that I began to feel guilty, even though I had done nothing wrong. I left the store extremely frustrated, upset, and with my hands literally shaking.
Today, I returned to the store because it was the only location that had the machine in stock, and thankfully, the women who helped me this time were the complete opposite — kind, professional, and genuinely friendly. Instead of leaving empty-handed and upset, I left with a beautiful Breville machine and a smile, thanks to their excellent service.
The employee from yesterday should not be treating customers the way she does. Being respectful and courteous is the minimum standard. We all have bad days, but that is no excuse to take it out in a customer.

Williams-Sonoma in fair oaks mall failed to honor their online price and product description. At checkout, the price was higher, and customer service refused to match the advertised details. Misleading and disappointing—beware! But on the website they say they do price match but THEY DON'T!!!!

I’ve noticed in general there have been many times where I and/or members of my family are not properly greeted and ignored regarding customer service. The other day that happened again while several people who entered the store after me were greeted and assisted. Completely unacceptable. Also, one of the employees lied about a product not being used when I noticed it looked tampered with. When I opened it there was missing packaging as well. That woman also doesn’t seem to be properly trained as she doesn’t know the answers to basic questions. I will be returning recent unopened items purchased at this store and we will not return to this location again.

Awful store. My husband bought me a gold touch pan right before thanksgiving (I have 10 of them ranging from 1 year old to 12+ years old but needed a rack), I used it one time and the rack immediately scratched the coating off the pan. When he went to return it they accused him lying, that it couldn’t possibly have been damaged after one use. They then proceeded to accuse him of lying about WHEN it was purchased when he asked for a copy of the receipt. The person he dealt with was the store manager, Tina. This person has no business being in customer service let alone being a manager. The customer service center was a train wreck to boot. I have been a William Sonoma customer my entire culinary career and will NEVER recommend anyone purchase anything from them ever again after this experience. Garbage product, garbage customer service.

Hours listed that it is open at 8am on Saturdays. We drove over 20 minutes and arrived at 8:40 and the store was closed/ locked. Wasted gas.

Some of the nicest and most responsive/helpful people work at Williams Sonoma, Fair Oaks Mall. Extremely customer service focused and driven to help you solve problems including merchandise returns and refunds. Will not hesitate to call other stores or search online to find merchandise that may be out of stock.. I’ve shopped here for over 20 years, and each time it’s a wonderful experience whether browsing or seeking to find that special item to dress out a table or make a recipe—Williams Sonoma has it all. Williams Sonoma unique displays that also includes hot cider, soup, and other treats along with an outstanding sales team add to a very lovely experience not found in any other store!

I came here to obtain a gift for my Dad, he really loves this store and I wanted to get him something I knew he'd enjoy. The staff were very nice with helping to suggest different options for what he may like and I decided to purchase a multi-seasoning pack which he has been thoroughly enjoying! The store is very organized and it's literally like the adult candy store. Looking around, everything looks exciting and useful! Thanks for your care with helping me get something nice for my Dad.

Truthfully, this was my first and last time ever going into this store. I was very excited to go in here and purchase some items for my house. When I walked in, not one associate greeted me. Several of them walked directly past my partner and I and didn’t even glance at us. I chopped it up to thinking maybe they had a one tract mind and they were busy ( still no excuse to say hello). I shopped around and received no help, and once I got to the front where the registers were, I looked to the left of me and all 3 associates were face deep into their phones. I’m assuming this is why they didn’t speak to me at the register. I proceeded to leave the store and began taking pictures of the signage to remember where I was so I could contact corporate. This must have made them realize that they ignored us the entire time, and they all put their phones down and stared at us out the window . 0/10 recommend. While I understand some people may be okay with not receiving acknowledgment, I found it to be very rude. Not a great customer experience for me.

This store is standard for this chain and offers their selection of food, kitchen, and housewares. The prices are a bit high, but that is what you have to pay for the name you are getting. The staff are friendly and helpful and it is easy to navigate through the store while you shop. There was a small crowd today, making it an enjoyable experience overall.

I just had the worst experience at this location. I went to ask to exchange a holiday gift, which I’m pretty sure is a common thing, and the woman refused saying I needed a receipt. I suggested she look up the name of the person who purchased it, since I know she purchased in store, and I’m a customer of W&S myself. Still no. I showed her that the sticker for W&S was still on the bottom and the item was still new in box, which SHE opened. She suggested I call the person who got the gift for me. Really? Again, I was planning on just exchanging and getting another model or something else in store. And so I left and she said “too bad she didn’t give you a gift receipt maybe she’ll get back to you.” Wow. So I left and called W&S customer service and they verified that I should get store credit and suggested I try a different store. I left negative feedback for this location over the phone. Terrible in person customer service. Do not shop here.

Love this place. Barbara is awesome. Very help full with Christmas gifts and with a expresso machine replacement due to cosmetic damage. Once and awhile they have a great sale on Reidel wine glasses and other items that I use.

Sales associated greeted me and asked if I need assistance, William Sonoma store can be your gourmet foods and professional quality cookware store , you can find cutlery, Knives and coffee machines, I always like selection of Reed Diffuser’s, I love aroma of Seaside Meadow into my House
