Great store. The workers are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Good selection, great prices. There is a hardware store closer to my house but I drive a bit further just for this one. Excellent service.

Brown's Hardware is my go-to place. The service is outstanding. The product knowledge is excellent. I find the product value to be as good as, if not better, than Home Depot. I'm invisible in the big box stores; no help, no knowledge, no assistance. I walk for miles looking and looking for things and end up with nothing. So Brown's is a god-send for me for gardening supplies as well as hard to find gadgets and advice. They repair screens as well as other services. Parking is also good given they are located in a very busy area. I am grateful for them and all they do.

This place is the real deal: an old-fashioned hardware store in the best possible way. They stock everything from major lawn and workshop tools to the tiniest nuts and bolts. And the employees know where everything is, and always have time to help and give project advice. Skip the big-box stores, shorten your trip, save money, and support local businesses all at the same time.

This is where I go to find the "thingy" or the "what do I need" item. You are treated like a person that needs help or just directions to the item. Big or small the service is what makes you want to come back. When you only need 2-3 of something it is what you're sold not a pack of 10. The place is staffed by problem solvers and is always a pleasure to make a stop.

There are fewer and fewer traditional hardware stores left in this area. Brown's is one of them. Parking is easier and prices are a bit lower at a big box retailer, but Brown's has knowledgeable, helpful staff and a curated selection of tools, products, and other solutions. They won't have 8 different brands of paint--but they can tell you the right kind to use on your outdoor stucco wall. I visit Brown's for all my odd-ball key duplication needs. They are able to match all kinds of keys that a big box store won't touch.
