We make salmon all the time, typically 6oz fillets from a larger vendor. We saw this at the farmers market and decided to splurge to see how much better the dish might come out. We were really looking forward to it.After making it, we eagerly dug in. On first bite, I was startled by what felt like some kind of hairy wire— a fish bone. I pulled it out but there were more, I had no choice but to spit the whole bite out.It felt disgusting. To those who haven’t experienced this, I would liken the sensory impact on one’s experience with the food to the impact of finding a hair in your food at a restaurant. Several hairs. There’s just no getting past that unfortunately, and we were pretty severely disgusted and turned off. We tried to trudge through, carefully picking each piece apart on the look out for bone hairs. Overall it did ruin the experience. It was overall pretty disappointing considering how much of a splurge this was, and we love salmon, but had never made a piece this “nice” at home before. We also spent so long at the counter at the farmers market speaking with a seller that I feel it should’ve been brought up if there is a strong potential for bones in the cut. I wish they cut the fish more carefully to prevent this issue. Oh well. The taste was fine, I think, it wasn’t offensive, but is just too hard to enjoy a meal after that sense of yuck.

Literally wrote negative comments about customer on the PACKING SLIP! Seems rather intentional and passive aggressive, but to be honest such a careless mistake also tracks. The product is top tier; customer service, however? Yikes. Actively hostile if you confront them seeking accountability for a mistake.

Unbelievably fresh and delicious seafood. Everything we've tried (King Salmon, Alaskan Rockfish, Shrimp, Scallops) is absolutely fantastic. Could not recommend more highly.
