The pharmacists constantly complain about how they are understaffed, are annoyed at having to speak with patients, have zero interest in being helpful, and rarely have prescriptions in stock. Worst pharmacy experience of all time, avoid at all costs

Great service, thorough advice from pharmacists. Quick and considerate treatment. Nice setup for vaccinations. Really appreciate the good attitude, because usually when I visit the pharmacist it's for a somewhat stressful reason.

Good prices on meds, better than GoodRx for what we needed.

Professional and right on time for our immunization. Their system and process was simple from scheduling the appointment online to checking-in and receiving the shot. The whole process on site took less than 10 minutes. There's plenty of parking on the lower level dedicated to patrons of Harris Teeter. Stay safe and enjoy!

I've had several interactions and prescriptions filled at this pharmacy and will transfer them out. All due to the curt and snarky way they communicate. Maybe they're stressed. No matter, if a customer isn't raising any issue at the moment, there's no excuse for rude and unprofessional communication. In addition, their counter is too high and awkward to approach, but that is a minor thing.

Had a bad experience with their pharmacy. I dropped off a prescription and was told they didn’t have it in stock it would need to be ordered. It wasn’t that big of a deal because I had plenty of medicine to last the couple of days it was going to take for them to order in the meds. I was told I would receive a notification when the meds arrived to the pharmacy. It got time for the pharmacy to close on the day the meds were supposed to arrive and I hadn’t heard anything. I called them to inquire about when the meds would be ready and I was told that they never came in. I was a little annoyed that no one called to tell me. I was told they would put the order in again and it would be another few days to come in. At this point I only had a little bit of medication left but I took the chance and said ok. Wouldn’t you know it the exact same thing happened. No phone call and no meds came in. This time I was very frustrated and when I asked what was going on I was told the meds were on back order. Why they couldn’t have told me that from day one is beyond me. I took my prescription to Kaiser literally 30 seconds away and had my script filled in under 10 minutes. Harris teeter pharmacist couldn’t have cared less about their customer. Complete lack of awareness and customer service. I will never use that pharmacy again.

There was a shopper in the Falls Church Store today with no mask. When I asked the person in charge of self check out he said he didn’t notice. He said I will ask my manager. He came back (after the customer left) and said they can only offer a mask. (Which he did not get while he was at Customer Service.) I will not return to Harris Teeter!

Bought two sandwiches here over a 2 week period. Dealt with two diffent employees. While both sandwiches were ultimately good ordering them and getting them made was a chore. In both cases I could barely hear/understand what the employee was saying. On the first sandwich I wanted tomatos which they had to go get and then slice. Watching the employee (who was old enough to know better) slice the tomato was a comedy of errors. Sufice to say she butchered the tomato. On the second sandwich I wanted swiss cheese and had to instruct the employee (multiple times) on which cheese (out of a selection of 4) was swiss. As metioned, the sandwhich was good and the price was right.

During the ramp up of the COVID 19 scare, I've heard horror stories from around the country of long lines and low availability of essential goods. My folks are in a suburb of Columbus OH and they haven't had a single successful grocery run in the past 10 days. That hasn't been my experience in the least. For whatever reason, the Harris Teeter in Falls Church on Broad St seems to be immune from the panic and chaos and I think it must be due to really good management. There's food on the shelves (although certain super high demand a collection of super random items are completely sold out, but there are sufficient alternatives), there are enough customer service folks to keep the lines moving and the carts available and the shelves stocked. THANK YOU HT!

My cycling studio shares a parking garage with Harris Teeter, so it is very convenient for me. Sadly, I am in need of a new grocery store. Once again, the items were incorrectly priced. Three items were on supposed to be on sale, but the price did not reflect the sale when they were scanned. This is a frequent problem. I usually just pay the higher price, but today I decided to address it. The sales person was incredibly rude, didn't believe me and never apologized. She went around the store to verify the prices of the three items and realized I was right and she was wrong. It was only the different of $6.00, but it happens so frequently that I think it is intentional.
