Make sure you check the expiration date on everything. I accidentally bought expired Annie’s Mac and cheese. The powder was clumpy and discolored and the expiration date was over a week before I bought it… Mac and a cheese takes a long time to expire so I don’t wanna know how long it was sitting on their shelf. I also saw a lot of lettuce sitting on shelves that had expired days before.

While this store does have a wide selection of products, they are very pricy. For example, I remember recently trying to get a box of 6 chocolate-chip muffins. They cost 7.99! Their rare sales are worth it, though. It brings most muffins down to 4.99. The good thing about this store is its location. It's very convenient for the neighborhood as it is only 10 mins walk away from all major apartment buildings. It's not the best, but not the worst either.

HT stores look so beautiful and clean (ahem, Giant) one would think the food would taste delicious but it never seems to. Case in point: their bakery apple fritter. No or few apples, inside tastes like it was formed from the unmixed dregs of the bowl, glaze not potent enough to compensate. The first time I was so shocked I figured it had to be a fluke. Just tried again a few months later and shock has turned to grieved acceptance. I would add that prices at HT are not exceptional. Perhaps I could give quality a break for savings but both are in short supply here. There are so many other options around that can manage at least one or the other that I’ll forgo the polished hardwoods and displays.

This is a pretty nice Harris Teeter. It feels spacious despite being tucked into the heart of Falls Church City. There is a parking garage underneath that tends to have plenty of space at off hours. Street parking is available, although more limited. Overall, it is super convenient if you're in Falls Church and need to grab groceries! This store has a good selection of staples plus some more high-end selections, like American wagyu beef and dry-aged beef. There is also a wine bar and a Starbucks inside. I haven't tried either of them, but they look inviting. Be aware that this store can sell out of some produce quickly, so be willing to select alternate items if needed.

They seem to be understaffed quite often. There are two self checkout areas and usually only one area is open at a time. This means the line for the self checkout area is typically very long. Additionally there are probably only two or three non-self checkout lines while the rest are unstaffed. If you're short on time I'd recommend going to another grocery store.Additionally, their pizza barely has any tomato sauce on it.

I can’t wait until the whole foods open down the street. The employees are the most unpleasant and the new people they hire, you can tell that having a bright personality is not a characteristic they look for. I go there everyday and when I try to speak to the associates they just stare at you. They self check out workers are the rudest.

I forgot to mention that Janet is fantastic cake decorator. And excuse my polical incorrectness she is a MILF. Has anyone seen Janet lately? Woozy. And Kim is a nice piece of ass.

When I got home from the Harrison Teeter store, in Falls Church, I discovered not all of my items have been bagged at the cashiers, yet, appeared on my receipt. This may be a problem with cashiers ringing up peoples items, but not putting them in the bags, but taking them home to feed their own families be careful. Be careful going here you watch the cashiers make sure they put all your stuff in the bags after they ring it up.

How long can their escalators be out? Their inflated prices should be able to cover any repairs.

Well stocked and good selection of groceries. Has more escalator outages than the Metro.

Brought my wife here for hot lunch because we only have 30 minutes lunch, the food from the hot bar was cold and disgusting, and the Starbuck clerk was also very rude. The eating area by the Starbucks was disgusting also, we had to clean a space before we could sit to eat. I come to this store alot but now I will limit my visits and go to other markets

There are reports going around that super markets and other retail outlets are pushing customers towards self checkouts and away from their staffed checkout lanes by reducing the availability of staff at the check out lanes. I am beginning to believe it after my recent trips here. And after today's experience with a bagger who did such a poor job of bagging, that even left some items unbagged, I had to rebag everything before I went to my car. Getting out the Broad Street entrance remains a major challenge during mornings and evenings. Yield to the big SUVs in the parking garage as well or risk leaving your paint color on the pillars.
