The customer service was good enough but that's about it. My 2023 model year car was in the shop for extensive diagnostics and repairs. My dealer coordinated with this Hertz location to provide me a loaner. I was given a 2020 Ford Fusion that had seen better days. The windows had not been cleaned inside or out, the seats were stained, there was a musty smell in the cabin, and various surfaces were sticky. Aside from cosmetic overlooks, the windshield wipers were old and did not do their job. While I did not visually verify, various belts on the engine sounded loose.

This might be the best hertz of all time. If you talk nicely with some manner and respect they will give you exactly what you looking for. Gareth is the guy I believe or not but he is awesome guy. He can tell you honestly whether he really can help you or not instead of wasting your time. I definitely come back to this location again.

TERRIBLE LOCATION DO NOT RENT FROM HERE I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS IF I COULD. BOOKED A CAR LAST NIGHT FOR MY TRIP TODAY AND THEY CALLED ME 3 HOURS BEFORE I AM SUPPPOSED TO PICK THE CAR UP AND SAID THEY HAVE NOTHING FOR ME. ON TOP OF THAT THE AGENT WAS VERY RUDE AND TOLD ME MAYBE NEXT TIME I SHOULD PLAN MY TRIP BETTER?? 0/5 SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE

Horrible experience; rude people at the counter. Car was smelling with terrible odor. I will have to go to airport to exchange it now. AVOID AT ANY COST!!Hertz has gone downhill in recent years; I don't know how this company is still in business. Terrible; worst experience of my life.

This location has the worse customer service ever! I went this morning to ask why I haven’t got my money back from my security deposit? Because It’s been a month since I dropped off the car and they still have my money then the guy at the from start yelling at me in a bad mood! That he has nothing to do about it! Worse experience with this company!! I’m no coming in back ever again!

Terrible experience!! They over booked and left me hang to dry with no car. Service was terrible and didn’t even help me get a new car! Thank you Hertz for the help and leaving me with nothing I can do. I highly suggest using a better company.

How did this car rental get as high as two stars?I call hertz rental on the phone and make a reservation to use my debit card. The lady on the phone took my card information ring me up and said I'm good to pick up the car at noon the next day.The next day I show up a little past noon after a VERY long bus ride. Hurts tells me my reservation hasn't processed and I needed to wait till 5:38 in the evening before I can talk to them. Having no place to go so I wait 5 1/2 hours.When I return, they tell me the only way I can rent a car is with a credit card. Places like this is why we need negative star readings.

I made a reservation online for rental Car and It was confirmed and paid off. I took a long Uber trip to get there and they told me that reservation was cancelled due to some issues and they didn't give me a call before I come!! Wasted time and money then I took Uber back!!Still waiting to get my refund!Definately NOT RECOMMENDED !!!⛔

I booked a 7 passenger car picking up at 8:00am (I was advised they are always late on opening).While I was there, Gabe advised my booking “is not in the system”. I asked him “Really?” Does this happen often?” He replied yes.He went on to teach me “if you want the 7 passenger car, you need to book at least a week in advance”. I am sure everyone knows that. Instead of putting the blame on your customer, as a customer service rep of Hertz, all you need to do is to apologize. If the system let me book, then it’s not my fault. If Gabe and/or Hertz do not have the car at the moment, simply apologize.He asked to come back after 3pm for that 7 passenger car. I asked “how much would that be”? He replied “same price”. If it’s “not in system” how would he know the price I have booked for? In other words, instead of apologizing because the 7 passenger car was not there, he claimed my booking is not in the system (while clearly it is).We are visiting from Toronto. Because of this mess and poor customer service, we waste one day. I have decided not to go back for the car.This specific location is definitely not reliable if you plan your trip and rely on their rental cars. This is also my first time trying to rent from Hertz but there will not be another time. Avoid at all costs.

Customer service from the manager is horrible. Excessive wait times, lack of suv’s, non-accommodating, poor communication and always a sense of attitude. I had an insurance rental for 3 months and spent a lot of money at this location, but would not recommend them.

I recently visited Virginia to see a friend & decided to book with hertz due to my AAA benefits. GABE was super helpful! He was willing to help & informed me on any questions I had. I 100% would recommend this specific location to anyone looking to visit the DC/Alexandria/Arlington area! Thank you so much Gabe. You really helped me.

This is the worst Hertz branch. Rude and bad customer services. I highly recommend not to go there. Hertz is a good rental company but not this branch at Falls Church.
