Do not get your appliances at Home Depot. They send out appliances that have been packed damaged and do not want to exchange them or help you out. I received a dishwasher that had no damage to the outside box or the packaging and the door and inside were bent and they insisted I had to go through GE the manufacturer. GE service inspected it and found it had been damaged inside and the whole unit needs to be replaced. I'll never shop at Home Depot again. You pay good money and they don't want to do the right thing. They also delayed my kitchen renovation with all this back and forth of Home Depot and GE not wanting to do the right thing.

Horrible customer service. I went in to buy a power tool and since they're all in locked shelves, asked for an associate to come unlock the case. I waited 40 minutes while they called multiple times and when someone finally showed up, they couldn't find the item despite the website and store inventory saying they had 3 in stock. Save your time and frustration and order online for delivery.

I am extremely disappointed in the product quality and customer service provided to me by Home Depot. Summary: - 8 unanswered emails on the status of my repair over 2 months - Approximately 20 phone calls to the store without service provided - Almost half the cost of the door itself spent on repairs fully at my expense, approaching the full amount of the door with the latest issue ($1,000) - No acknowledgement of responsibility or accountability - Inaccurate assessment of the reason for damage (wind) despite photo and video evidence, and that no other storm doors in my townhome complex sustained any damage at all. I purchased a storm door plus installation from Home Depot in September of 2022, and it was installed in November of 2022. In December of 2022, the door did not latch properly and was blown open during a windstorm, and the closer bent beyond repair. When I went to Home Depot for support in fixing the door, they provided a new closer and told me it was an easy fix and to do it myself. In March of 2023, I came home one evening to find the storm door wide open, blown off the hinges so violently that the closer was bent again, but the hinges also partially ripped off the doorframe. Every other townhome in my neighborhood has storm doors, and none were dislodged from their frames. I ensure my door latches whenever I shut it, so at this point it was obvious it was a faulty installation. Because the door would not shut, I had to remove it and lay it down in my living room until I could have someone from Home Depot provide assistance with the repair. That unfortunately never happened. The in store representative initiated an email to get the repairs underway, requesting information from me so they knew what parts were required. I replied with the requested information, and after several days of no response, I reached out via email. Another week passed without a response, so I reached out again. I then received an automated communication that one part was ordered, but it was not the full suite of parts needed for the repair. After a week went by with no response, I emailed to check on the status. Another week passed without a response, so I reached out again. In total, I had 5 unanswered emails over the course of a month. I tried calling the store approximately 20 times at different days and times, over the span of weeks, yet no one could help place the order for the replacement part as Home Depot would not cover it, but no one could articulate why. At this point the installer reached out, and claimed they were not responsible. The Millworks manager Natalie was particular unprofessional and unhelpful. She could not or would not explain why Home Depot would not cover the replacement of a faulty part and/or install when the door had not even been in place for 6 months, and when I was asking for help and next steps, admittedly very frustrated after going a month plus with no correspondence from Home Depot, her response was "what do you expect me to do about it?". Getting desperate, I tried speaking to another department manager. He assured me Natalie would call me the next day so I could order the part at my own expense, as Home Depot has proven they do not stand behind the quality of their products or their customer service. In what I have learned is typical from Natalie, she did not reach out to me for several days. At the end of everything, I had 8 unanswered emails from Home Depot over the course of 2 months. I asked to speak to the store manager or assistant store manager, and neither were in the store, and no one could tell me the next day they would be in the store. I lost count of the number of times I called and the line went dead during a transfer. I wound up ordering directly from the manufacturer, who was cheaper and provided better service. As I write this my door has just blown off the frame again on a mildly windy day. The door was latched, and no other doors in my neighborhood have been impacted. This was clearly a bad installation, and Home Depot refuses to make the situation right. For your hom

This review is essentially about Home Depot's access to the Bagster service. I had hundreds of pounds of old roofing that needed removal. You need a place to put the bag that they can pick up without interfering with overheads, like wires and space, like parking. It cost me about $250! And I could have loaded even more, but I didn't have time. They don't take old appliances etc. In under 10 minutes, they were done and gone. It's www.thebagster.com.

If you like mediocre service in the aisles and klaxon horns while you shop, this is your store. In the faucets and bath fixtures area, there are security cameras at eye level in several locations. While picking out a kitchen faucet, the klaxon went off very loudly every time I moved near a faucet. I earned 7 mind jarring horn soundings to pick out one faucet. In the bathroom towel rack area, there are two such horn equipped cameras, so they go off whether you move left or right. Not pleasant.

It's entirely too big in a good way but as with most home depot locations the staff is next too useless. Look, I don't expect you to know a lot but know which isle products are on. Won't hold it personally against home depot. Otherwise employees are friendly and diverse and that's a plus in my book. Beats going to Lowe's, that's for sure.

I had to buy paint for an upcoming project. I needed several gallons and different colors. I had been to the HD in Alexandria where they were wonderful and pleasant and helpful. NOT the case @ THIS location!! The paint staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. I asked for some tips on how to achieve a certain shade, they said pick your color ma'am from what we have (eye roll)... I wanted to say something about how rude he was and his coworkers, but I decided to write this instead. Please be aware you most likely will not get a friendly greeting.

Customer service is horrible. It's not often you get enraged just from shopping and needing help

This review is specifically to share what a great experience we had yesterday at the Doors and Windows department. Kelly G was incredibly helpful and was able to show us different optIons after we explained our remodeling scenario. We're very excited about the door we selected and now we just hope it is a good product :-)

Terrible service, reminds me of Sears and the old Hechingers which was replaced by Home Depot. I brought the parts that I needed to buy, I asked a worker and just points to the isle, went over and couldn't find them. While searching,, another worker goes by, I asked her and tells me that the worker for that section (plumbing), Michael is on the opposite isle. Went to the other isle and find Michael pushing a cart, big guy who tells me, that the parts are on the other isle (that I know) and looks away. I stood there and asked him, can you help me find them, I cannot. He makes a face keeps pushing the cart to the end of the isle (I'm following him), pulls a large item from the cart and throws it to the floor. Then takes his time to park the cart. Finally turns around (saying nothing) walks to the area, find the parts and gives them to me. These people need a real serious customer service training, and this is not the only HD whose employees act like that with their customers. That's why every chance I get, I go to Lowes, but for tonight, it is just too far...

I wish I could give them zero starts. Let's start with calling them. The phone will ring for an average of 8-12 minutes before anyone actually picks up the phone. Then they pick up and transfer you where the phone rings for several minutes more. If you are lucky someone will pick up but quite frequently you get disconnected. Home Depot delivered us a Dryer that never worked (due to installation errors on their part) and it took them a month to get us a new one. At which point we only got by shelling out another $600 for a new dryer because they won't do an exchange for a product they broke during delivery. Now I'm fighting with them to get the $600 refunded. The amount of time I spend on the phone with HD and arguing with them over their incompetence and poor customer service and trying to get a working appliance from them is absurd. Meanwhile we have thousands of dollars of shades on top of it that are sitting in our home, waiting to be installed by HD (which we paid for the installation already) that they have been unable to install for weeks because they are too busy. Don't trust anything they say. They told us they would be installed in a week. It's been weeks and the "temporary shades" they told us to buy to help in the meantime are $hitty and fall down in the middle of the night waking us. Go anywhere but here!

The one of the employees, some old Indian dude, instigated an argument with me and my father, then the employee proceeded to complain about his job at us in means to try and look like a victim. My father and I have spent years going to home depots and spent tens thousands of dollars a month for each and every jobsite we do, yet we are disrespected just because an employee doesn't want to work because he had a bad day with a customer arguing with him as the old Indian employee explained while yelling at us.

Update: Have you no shame, Home Depot? I had a simple call to appliances that was bounced around until there was a disconnect. I called back and was put on hold for 30 minutes. After that I decided to drive there - while still on hold - in order to get my question answered. Sure enough, they were all standing around- while I had my phone on hold. I walked up to an older man. Pointed out my question, got an answer, and then pointed out that I was - after 50 minutes - on hold. "Oh, we were busy before." I'm still on hold Really, Home Depot, really? Update #2: DO NOT order online for pick up. Tried this the other day. They never informed me about the order. I'm blown away at how horrible, truly catastrophic this place is.

I go here quite a lot and the service is usually bad, but today it was bad enough for me to leave a review. I went to check out in the appliance section because I parked right outside there. As I approached the register, the check out attendant rolled his eyes at me and sighed as he put his phone away. I asked him if there was a problem and he would rather me go somewhere else. He said "No, jeez." I didn't say anything else other than thank you and have a great day as I left and he responded with a, "Yep." I spoke with the other associates in the section and they said, "Well, that's too bad."

It's like you step out of reality into a purgatory caricature of a big box store. The ethereal lack of staff and limitless expanse of waiting for help really created a sense of this being a cosmic test of patience -- or at least that life was slipping me by. I left, having spent 40 bucks on the wrong thing. And I'm going to eat the cost rather than roll the cosmic dice again. Home Depot, you evil geniuses, you got me.
