Worst spray tan of my life, days before my wedding. I’ve never wrote a bad review before but this deserved one.I went to the palm beach in Vienna a few weeks ago to test it out and loved it. Came to the falls church one and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a palm beach tan. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude, didn’t look at me once, and had such a bad attitude. She handed me the color for the spray tan machine and then walked away. I only knew how to insert it because I used to work there 15 years ago. Never told me how to use the booth or what positions to do, but I just tried to do what I remembered I did a few weeks prior.I get married in two days and my spray tan is SO splotchy I had to come home and immediately wash it off so I could go somewhere else and get a better one. $80 down the trash. The machine was obviously not working right and just splattered the color all over the side of my neck and shoulders. I did all the right things, bought the primer, used the hair and feet covers, and barrier cream. My palms were black afterwards and I have no idea how because I never had them pointed to the machine. Thanks for the last minute fire drill. Will never be returning.Service: Tanning

I don’t normally like to write bad reviews but I feel like I’ve been quite patient with this location for a year now and it needs to be known so maybe someone will actually do something.I’ve been a long time PB customer with an unlimited monthly spray package for years. I love the Fairfax location but after moving last year started going to the Falls Church one since it’s much closer to our new home.First issue is the spray machines. They never work properly! The Versa Pro only sprays out of one side, and the Mystic Tan heaters and blowers are broken. When I’ve raised the concern to the staff about the Pro they blame it on fluid but that’s not the case, and when I told the front desk person today the Mystic was broken her response and I quote was “yeah we know, we ordered the part and it never came so we aren’t going to fix it”.So you are charging for a membership that can’t be used because your machines are always broken and refuse to be fixed. What kind of service is this?In addition, the staff is hit or miss. Some are great and others like the one I dealt with today are always on their cell phone or talking to friends in the store. In the past the same girl that told me they weren’t fixing the machine has been on her phone and greeted me five minutes later with “what do you want”. She is rude.This location I have given many chances before reviewing and I just can’t hold back anymore. Please PB corporate do something to fix this location.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE MONTHLY, you cannot cancel!!!!!It is nearly impossible to cancel the recurring payment. I made several requests to cancel the membership, but regardless, they will continue to charge you. And for a refund, that's a looooooong process which I should figure out with "corporate." Will give them a chance then will file bank claim.

Not satisfied. Me and a few friends came in for tans a couple days before prom. I mentioned it was my first time getting a spray tan and wanted some extra help to feel comfortable. I got zero guidance except for which bronzer to use and they just put me in the room to figure it out myself. Although there were instructions in the room, I felt as though I couldn’t ask any questions or get some help. I couldn’t hear the instructions of the machine clearly , resulting in some missed spots on myBody since it was my first time and I was a little confused.Although my tan came out okay, my two friends got the same shade as me (medium) and they didn’t get tan at all! Apparently some of the machines were broken as I heard one customer had the machine stop in the middle of her session.The girls working there seemed to have an attitude and weren’t the friendliest. I believe the place needs some new service and more care to its customers. It’s been a few days since my tan, and it’s fading really fast. Will not be going back to the falls church location.

The manager and staff here rock. I had an issue at another location and they looked into it and took care of everything. I will drive 25 mins out of my way to this location instead of the Bradley shopping center in Alexandria.

Palm Beach Tan in this area has gone complete downhill! First of all, their phones don't work when you need to call them. How is a business operating without a phone? The women at the front desk are completely rude and speak condescendingly. There is one who wears a mask and will speak with a complete attitude and stare at you so angrily behind her mask. Palm beach tan is not what it use to be and I will no longer tan there!!

The staff are always so helpful and friendly. I hadn't tanned in forever and so much has changed, so it was really nice to have experts to help me through it.I love my tan and would recommend that anyone looking for a place give them a try!

If I could give a negative 5 score I would this place has gone downhill and it's horrible it's dirty has bad service a lot of equipment doesn't work and they're always out of products and toilet paper too! Tried to reach the managers they don't care to reach back this place is horrible.

I have a membership to Palm Beach tanning and always go to the salon in Vienna and use the Mystic machine. Since Vienna Salon’s Mystic machine was out of order, I went to this salon and had a horrible experience. Although the salon itself was a very nice facility, one of the employees by the name of Morgan was extremely rude, unprofessional and condescending. This was my first time at this particular salon and I noticed that their tanning booth was different than what I’ve been using at the Vienna salon. So I asked a question about how the machine works and the need for help. Morgan not only was not willing to help, she was hesitant to even assist me. And, it wasn’t as if she was helping another customer, she was just talking to another colleague at the front desk. When I couldn’t figure out the machine, I asked for someone to help me, no one came. Then I came out of the room and walked back to the front desk and asked for help. Morgan was so agitated and annoyed as to why I’m even asking for help; she acted as if I’m asking for too much. She didn’t acknowledge the fact that it’s my first time there and that it’s normal for a customer to want to make sure she’s operating the machine correctly.I wasn’t planning on making a big deal about it until when I was about to leave the salon. Despite her rude behavior, I said thank you as I was walking toward the exit door. She didn’t even have the courtesy to reply back to me. That’s when I asked for her name and brought it to her attention that her behavior was unacceptable and not only unkind & unfriendly but also very demeaning and belittling. She is a horrible reflection of this salon and she certainly does not have the social skills to be in a line of work where she has to interact with customers. And, she definitely shouldn’t be working in a field where she is asked to help someone.Because of how she treated me, and the worst experience I had yesterday, I’ll be canceling my membership and will be going to a different tanning salon.

I’ve been a Palm beach customer for years however I had to experience a very disturbing and rude employee behavior (Becca) towards a customer at this location. I’m considering suspending my membership with the company because of this experience.
