The five stars is only for the Banh Mi! It's the best value ($7) for what you will get anywhere in DC. Just bring cash because the credit card minimum is $12. The other bakery items can be good but hit or miss whether they will be hot or cold. The older lady that runs the shop is very sweet -- I will always come back when I am near the Eden Center

Well organized and clean store. Lots of Vietnamese treats. Wasn’t able to try any sandwiches but enjoyed all the ready made items there. Was able to meet the owner Theresa who was so lovely to talk to. I recommend going here!

Ordered two flavors in pate chaud: pork and chicken to go... I personally like chicken pate chaud as it's very flavor and juicy inside of wonderful flaky and buttery pastry. It's almost like chicken pot pie without veggies, although it is Vietnamese style. I'd recommend chicken over pork. Pork pate chaud is also juicy, wrapped with pastry as well! It is not a lot of flavors going on like chicken pate chaud does. I think it's a great savory snack as you wander around Eden Center. Service was quick and friendly as the staff were very attentive to my orders and kept things efficiently before the bakery got busy with people coming in.

I tried their avocado boba tea, which was pretty good and thick/creamy, but I've never had one before, so I can't really compare it to any other avocado boba teas. The avocado flavor wasn't strong at all, so it might not be fresh/authentic. I do appreciate that the avocado itself wasn't sweet at all. The boba at the bottom had sweet syrup, so the drink was well-balanced in terms of sweetness. Their pate chauds (pastry pies) were also good overall. The chicken version was warm and fresh, with perfectly crispy exterior and soft flavorful inside. The pork version was disappointingly not as fresh; it was a bit cold, and the exterior was a bit hard. Bring cash. It's $12 minimum for credit card usage.

Came here for a quick lunch on my visit to DC. I got the veggie banh mi, which was really delicious. I also got a sesame ball for dessert and really enjoyed it! I would recommend for a quick bite if you know what to order. You can't beat the amazing prices here!

Banh mi is complete garbage. Chewy bread, sliver of meat.

My brother from another mother took me to the Eden Center or as he likes to call it Little Saigon to visit his favorite place for Bahn Mi sandwiches, the Saigon Bakery & Deli and it was truly a delight! I was mesmerized by the incredible food selection that was available. A dear, sweet elder women who my brother says is a grandmother to the community, prepared our lunch for us. We each had a Bahn Mi sandwich. My brother went with the pate and cold cuts while I went with a delicious beef and lemon grass sandwich. We each had a tasty, crunchy egg roll all washed down by a oh so tasty and refreshing ice cold Vietnamese coffee! You can pick up lunch and dinner as well or the fixings to prepare your own meal at home!

Every time we come to Eden center we always stop here to get their pate chaud. It's the best. It's flaky and the flavoring is good. The lady boss is nice and attentive. I remember them when they were at the corner location over 20 years ago and would always get their tofu pudding. They're always pleasant. The only thing I have concern for is the cleanliness since the glass display is open, inviting bugs/debris onto the food.

My husband bought banh cuon and fried spring rolls for me. Both were very good! The banh cuon had a lot of filling and the wrapper was thin. The rolls were big and delicious. I'm definitely going to stop by next time I'm at Eden Center.
