Neat place and idea. My 2 yr old enjoyed it . BUT…I was disappointed I had to pay FULL price for my 7 month old who I wore in my baby carrier the entire time and who is disabled. So beware every human no matter of capability or location, will have to pay the full price…and it’s not cheap!! Unfortunately I won’t be back.

Perfect place to play with the kids. Great choice of toys. If you have a membership you can borrow some toys for a few weeks, that such a great concept!!!

What a great idea. Just there, my grand daughter enchanted with the place. Borrow toys, all kinds. All the kids were engaged in activities concerning toys.

We discovered the Toy Nest from a friend several years ago and our children have been playing there ever since. The space is lovely, the toys are top notch and the staff is wonderful! We highly recommend the Toy Nest to any family looking for an enriching experience for their children!

The Toy Nest has provided the best way for us to keep things new and interesting for our daughter...and prevent us from storing so many toys in our small house that she grows out of it! The website (albeit can be a little clunky) offers a great catalog of toys. We love it!

We (my 4&6yo and I) absolutely love the toy nest. The staff are all so lovely and helpful and the toys are in great shape and ever changing. I was worried at first about losing a piece of a toy and incurring fines etc but when the dreaded day finally arrived (accidents happen) the staff were so lovely and showed us such grace. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

I can't believe that, despite being an annual member since The Toy Nest opened its doors, we've never left a review!Without exaggeration, we have not bought a new toy in years. Whenever we would like something new to play with or a kid hits yet another developmental shift, we simply check something out of the Toy Nest. I love that we can try out all of the "latest and greatest," but figure out what works for our family to perhaps add to a Christmas wish list.Lisa and her team are warm and personable and have become friends to our family. The fact that our monthly membership also includes a place to play EVERY week makes this one of the few things our family with 4 kids finds reasonably priced. Our $30 a month covers four weekly visits, not priced per child, and 5 points of toys to take home each time, if we want. One brand new Lego set for my 8 year old would be...well, not $30 ;)That would be enough for me, but I am genuinely impressed at all of the ways The Toy Nest serves the local community. Throughout the years, I've seen breastfeeding classes, play groups with speech therapists, language-based meet ups, reading time, music classes, etc. Not to mention the free memberships for families who qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our youngest is a one year old, so the way we see it, we have about 8+ more years of being Toy Nest members. We are excited to see how they continue to grow and adapt to meet needs in the community!

I'm a mom of a 19 month-old and have been a member for about a year now. I love the opportunity to try out toys and see if my babe is ready to go up a level in her toys and games. On rainy or bad weather days, you must call ahead to make sure you reserve your spot. I've never had a bad experience though sometimes quite often on bad days they run out of space. I guess some moms are just better planners than me. I find the fees to be pretty reasonable all things considered. The staff is great. The online library of toys could be better, but after a year, I'm pretty used to it. Overall, love the concept, love the space and would love to see more of these around town! Try it out!

I brought my son here before he turned two. At the time we were buying toys in a subscription service but I was getting frustrated that he would only play with them for a week or two at mostI wanted to borrow toys from The Toy Nest and the concept sounded perfect. What I got was way more valuable than I could imagine.Yes, my son gets to borrow toys for a couple weeks and return them after he gets bored with them which is great. He also LOVES playing at the Toy Nest. We reserve a weekly spot and he loves exploring different toys. It feels like he discovers something new every weekHe also discovers toys that I would've never thought to get for him. He's discovering new ways to play and imagine all the timeI don't have a house full of unwanted toys anymore. This has been great especially in the summer cause we borrow water tables, pools and outdoor equipment like cars and scootersI recommend The Toy Nest to anyone with kids. The value is unmatched compared to anything in the area

Very rigid and strict policies. Make parents' life very hard. You have to reserve spots and there are cancellation fees if you don't show up. The spots comes in the hour and half hour instead of on the quarters. They also charge high fees (entrance fees or annual membership fees). The space is quite small, more like someone's living room plus dinning room. The options are very limited both in terms of toys and in terms of time slots you can go to play. Then you also have to reserve certain toys in advance. And then you also have to count the pieces of toys you borrow and if it happen to have twenty small pieces, good luck. The problem is driven by the fact that this toynest place kind of monopolizes the Falls Church area. No competition, then no improvement. I have been to much better and bigger in-door playing places somewhere else (not in Falls Church). I found some of the good reviews untrue.

Came all the way to this place, and found it quite disappointing. It's more like a second-hand toy store, but not for purchasing, only for borrowing. I get the idea of saving space, but still have seen better solutions than this.

We had such a great visit to The Toy Nest yesterday. I can't stop talking about it and telling everyone how cool of a concept it is! My 14-month-old had the best time exploring all the toys. The staff was so warm and welcoming too!
