There’s mold in the fitting rooms. In previous visits I’ve found the fitting rooms are dusty and a bit unkept. Gross to put bare feet on. But today by far I found an unacceptable situation. They’re redoing the floor trimming and it’s been removed, underneath there’s Mold which caused me to have a reaction as im allergic to it. This is completely unsanitary and unsafe. Will not go back

Customer service here is horrible. I tried to purchase jewelry at the counter and waited for 20 minutes to be passed up (mind you the person didn't even make a purchase) Please don't have a jewelry counter if your not going to maintain it! I left and spent my money else where.

Today, a few hours ago prior when the store was closed, this lady is said that she’s the supervisor and I saw this bag and it had a sensor on it and the supervisor took it off the sensor and she took the bag with her and she said this our policy, why is this there policy?

While the selection might be great, the customer service interaction I just had with associate JOSE F was absolutely terrible. I came with a receipted return and and unreceipted return, which should have been no problem, but he began our interaction with a pursed-lip grimace for no apparent reason. He then goes to process the receipted return and I asked if he could please put it on a gift card, rather than back to the original payment method, because that card was no longer active. He then rolls his eyes at me, shoves the return over, and looks for what I thought was a gift card. Instead, he asks for my ID and processes it as a NON-receipted return. When I asked him why he was doing it that way and that he shouldn’t need my ID for that portion of the return, he didn’t respond and just processed it the way HE wanted to. But wait, it gets better. Next, he goes to scan the non-receipted return (2 items) and while the first went through much to his inconvenience (eye rolling and pissy facial expression continuing) the second barcode had been cut off to reveal only the item/barcode number (this item was a gift and the purchaser asked if she could remove the price portion of the tag, which she was told yes to ahead of time). He looks at me and says, “these items go together?” indicating they might be part of a two piece set (they were neither the same brand, nor the same season of clothing whatsoever). I told him that that was not the case and the situation as per the above and he starts pacing back and forth, now banging on the register and irritatedly shoving the items on the counter away from him, to which I then asked, “can I help you read the item/barcode number for you?” He doesn't respond and just stares at it. I then asked if it would be easier to ask for the manager. He then finally processed the return, says, “get your card [from the previous incorrectly processed return on his behalf]” rudely, still with a pissed and demeaning facial expressions/stance and slid my id back to me. Perhaps handing it to me would have just been too nice for this guy.
Let me tell you, I usually only come to Google to write positive reviews because I believe there are too many negative reviews on the Internet. This man’s attitude was simply atrocious and he should not be in a position of customer service, interacting with people, at all. Even if you’re having a bad day, this is unacceptable behavior for a grown man probably between 50 and 60.

The selection at this TJ Maxx is decent but they need way more cashiers. Everytime I’m here it takes FOREVER to checkout. One employee was working cashier and asked the manager if she could go to the back and he allowed her to even though there were 15 people in line and only 2 cashiers up front.

There was a South Asian lady there who was super rude to me at the counter, kindly train the staff to be polite to the customers, the barcode tag was in the pants i was returning, she couldn't find it and rudely told me "there is no tag!". I did complain to the manager who handled everything well.

My experience at T.J. Maxx was disappointing as the store appeared disorganized and the staff seemed unfriendly. I was not greeted upon entering nor throughout my time in the store, and unfortunately, I was unable to find the item I was looking for amidst the chaos.

I like this store is always organized and the personal are nice, but today my cashier asked me for survey and I said yes she asked me my phone to show me how… ! but she ended making the survey for me and I didn’t like that.
