Starting in roughly the first day of 2023 the lobby is closed when the associated retail location is closed. Access to the store to the post office that is is through the lobby. The Post Office boxes are accessible only in the lobby when it is open. This was done because homeless people were sleeping in the lobby overnight. There is no shelter for single people in the neighborhood. However there is a family shelter on the corner of Patrick Henry and Leesburg Pike

My experiences have been mixed. There are some quick, efficient and enthusiastic-to-help employees. But, there is one woman who literally types in addresses with a pencil tip. She is slow, and while that can be forgivable, she is inaccurate.? It makes for a disappointing experience .

Second time my package been lost , I use priority mail box and I package at the store in front of the lady cashier a designer women shoes , and I tried to track online but it look like my package still at the store.

They schedule says that will be open at 8:30 am but I’m here at 8:37 am still closed . Your employees are late all the time or what . Be clear with the schedule

This post office is a good option if you're in Seven Corners and need to drop off a pre-paid package. They have a spot on the counter for those drop offs. If you're looking for full service, it might not be your best bet. It seems to be relatively low staffed, plus they close from 2-3 daily for a lunch break. There seem to be a steady stream of patrons at peak times (like late afternoon), but it's pretty empty midday. It's convenient that this location is in the same shopping center as a UPS store. Personally, I tend to do a double visit, returning Amazon items via UPS and depositing USPS mail/packages at this post office.

They did not change the clock from the daylight saving time on November 7, 2021, and on Monday 11/8/2021 they closed for lunch at 1:00 PM thinking it was 2:00 PM. I came at 1:10 PM and this branch was closed with lights off. Wow.

After pre paying for one year of mailbox service, they decided to lock the mailbox area at earlier hours and on weekends? So now one can only access a mailbox during their normal business hours which is when most people work.
