The best USPS experience I've ever had. The staff was kind and patient.

This post office still advertises self-service lobby access 24/7. This is FALSE. The lobby is locked, meaning there is absolutely no way to drop off mail outside of regular business hours. Tough luck, Falls Church! Better take time out of your workday to come instead.
Their lazy sign doesn’t mention they’re closed at ALL times outside full service hours, either. I watched 5 other people try the doors as I wrote this on a Sunday at noon.
This is my home post office and my mail carrier is an ANGRY woman who speeds through our parking lot and shoves mail carelessly into boxes, wadding up things labeled “Do Not Bend.” Literally nothing good about this location. One star is too generous.

We have a PO Box here and we need after hours access to our mail. Since they locked the doors after 6pm due to a homeless issue that Falls Church failed to address it penalizes the customers. Unfortunately this will force us to change our PO Box to another location that is accessible and convenient.

Very efficient and polite! Just be aware that their passport and fingerprinting services don’t open until 10am and close before the regular post office does.

Removed outdoor boxes & doesn’t open until 9:00, which is really inconvenient. Driving out to Merrifield again- miss the old location.

Its good but they close the entire building at 6pm. Homeless idiots ruined the great 24 hour spot for everyone

Doors were locked until 9 a.m. no one could access post office boxes or drop off mail.
What is up with that?

Horrible, disrespectful service. Went to apply for a passport in person and they opened an hour late. Long line of people waiting and they pointed to the front of us and then told everyone past a certain point to leave (and this was right at the beginning at 10:00 when walk-ins are open until 12:00). Waited in line for an hour and after processing the first 6 people in line the lady just left the desk. Sat there waiting and when she finally came out again she made a big scene telling us she didn’t remember us as part of the group she said she would process and that we just walked in. We were clearly there for an hour and before the point of people she sent away! There was also an hour left in the allotted time for passport walk-ins. Why list the times that way if they are going to open an hour late, process 6 people, and then refuse anyone else? The entire time she was rude and condescending when everyone in line was being friendly and compliant.

This place is routinely understaffed, and the staff that is there doesn't even show up until an hour or more after they're supposed to be open. And when they do open, they claim no one there can help with passports. Entire operation is a sad joke, and they show no signs of caring about it.

It’s 9:18 on a Saturday. No employees have shuffled in. There’s a long line of customers waiting. Among them not a singular grin.

Had an appointment for my passport and was seen by H Tran earlier than the time. I was in and out within 15 minutes. She was nice and prompt with service. Highly recommend going online and filling out the form and getting the photo ahead and you may also need to submit documents to the State Department.

Twice tried to get passport processed. Once with appt and they then would not process. Second time without notice no processing due to “staffing shortage”

Helpful staff but the interior is decades old and needs renovation. USPS puts all money into salaries and fat-cat contracts with little regard for infrastructure, like so many other govt agency services.

Great service November 19. Wonderful staff especially one that helped me find the right box to ship. I did not get her name. She had Asian features. Big thanks to her for helping me out.
The younger African American woman was also super helpful. She is the one who took my package once it was ready to be shipped.
Truly appreciate the staff at this location.
I also love how diverse the staff members are.
Plenty of free parking in the back of the building. Does not seem busy but traffic comes in waves at times. No one was waiting when I came in but by the time I left there was a line with 3 people so still not a long line.
Went on a weekday before 1 PM.

Line was long. Only one person working. Two were standing/sitting just watching. Because they were on break. The line was out the door and down the hall
