If you have another choice of pharmacy, please go elsewhere! This location has the WORST pharmacists I’ve ever encountered. Very rude and hostile woman answering the phone talking to people as if she’s lost her mind. My family has had to place a grievance on this pharmacy because they are corrupt and will short you out of your medicine (insulin) and most recently they tried to get one over on my grandfather who is just starting insulin and has has been prescribed a PEN in dec of 2023 and has YET to receive his medication because this corrupt place is trying to give him a vile instead when his doctor prescribed him a pen SPECIFICALLY and when we call to let them know they have an attitude and tell us it’s the doctor and insurances fault?? I will be getting in touch with corporate for this ridiculous encounters and hopefully this store has a rehire because who knows what they’ve done to others in the area with no advocates ?

There's a pharmacist there who hates life so bad that she takes it out on her customers/patients. I've never heard such disrespect come out of one individuals mouth. If you are looking for a GOOD pharmacy in Farmville, VA, this isnt it, used to be, but not anymore. Keep looking.

They need to be nice at all times. I feel that when Susan left, they have just hired the worst customer service employees. Need more training in how to talk to costumers.

The pharmacist, Steve, and his team go above and beyond to ensure their patients receive the care they need. I was initially skeptical considering the low ratings, but my experience was great. Despite the negative review I believe it’s worth giving them a chance.I arrived shortly before close and felt guilty coming in last minute. They were so understaffed that they had to close the drive-thru, but took the time to treat me with dignity.Steve even took the time to ask questions to ensure that I was familiar with the medication, tolerated it well, and was not having any interactions with my other medications.

This place is a joke. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. Corporate CVS should do something about the way the people in the pharmacy speak to and treat people. Just look at the reviews. Horrible.

There is a female pharmacist with gray hair that yells at her patients, both over the phone and in person for simple misunderstandings, and insists that she did no such thing when you come to speak to her about the issue. Very aggressive and confrontational when someone doesn't understand what she is saying. I am certain she gets away with it as it is the only CVS within a 30 mile radius. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a pharmacy before in my entire life. I will be switching my prescriptions to Walmart from now on not to deal with this pharmacist in particular. CVS, do better with who you hire, because this ain't it.Edit 11/8/23: The way that this CVS is run is frankly scary. The staff is exhausted and overworked at all times. I'm a healthcare worker and I would honestly rather get a root canal than go here.

I never do these types of reviews but maybe someone will see this and teach this team some phone etiquette and customer service lessons. I've had several telephone conversations with a certain pharmacist and she is just downright rude. I accidentally hit 2 for the provider line (bc I'm used to doing that with my profession), and the pharmacist got on the phone. I went on to give my name and discuss my medication issue. She says are you a provider or a patient? I said I'm a patient. She says " You have to call the patient line" and just hangs up on me. I then called back and hit the patient line. I spoke with someone else and told them I had just called the provider line by accident and the pharmacist hung up on me and expressed that I thought that was rude and asked for the pharmacist's name on duty today. The tech then places me on hold (you know how you can tell you are on hold), but then it flips back and I can hear them talking about me in the background. I say to the tech, I can hear you talking about me and I can hear the pharmacist talking about me, as well. I asked for both of their names and the tech continued to ask for my birthday...completely brushing over the fact I heard them speaking negatively about me over the phone, I continued to ask to speak to the pharmacist. The tech then hung up, but at least she said goodbye. (FYI I never got their names but they were working around 1:25 p.m. on October 3, 2023) What is frustrating about this whole situation is that I work with the elderly and I have a little bit of medical knowledge. Is this how you treat the elderly patients of our community that use your pharmacy? Do better Farmville CVS pharmacy!!!!

Poor staff is exhausted. Always a very long line at the pharmacy with only 1 window and drive-thru open. Please hire more staff and give the staff working a raise.

I won't be back. Waited 15 mins for the pharmacy to return from lunch, then another 10 once they opened. Then, when I got to the window, as a new customer, I was told to go to the drop off window so they could enter my insurance. The rude woman at the drop off window told me I had to get back in the regular line after she entered my insurance (rather than ringing me up herself - apparently this system is what CVS management thinks is an appropriate way to care for customers). Back to the end of the other line for another 15 minutes. After finally paying, I thanked the cashier who did NOT thank me for choosing CVS. Zero customer service by the CVS employees.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They are ignorant, crappy, poorly trained. My doctor makes repeated calls to them because they make numerous mistakes.

Today was the 2nd time I had to wait 20 min in drive thru,I was behind someone who had issues with something, people who is unclear what to do at a drive thru should go on the inside so people don't have to wait 20 min in the worst drive thru in Farmville,CVS needs to do better for the public.

Called to refill my prescription at 4pm & technician was extremely curt saying that it’d be ready the next day at 9:30am because they were too busy and hung up on me. Decided to go to the drive through so I could ask them to fill it the same day because I needed it. When we got there a woman with blonde hair in a bun came to the window, & snapped at me saying “No. It won’t be ready until tomorrow.” I asked why out of genuine curiosity & got “Because we’re busy.” Went back and forth until she finally said “ MAYBE it’ll be done by the time we close. Said I’ll be back in 3 hours, when I got back to pick up they overcharged the prescription & the cashier rolled his eyes at me saying “Do you want to speak to the pharmacist?.” So the gray haired woman came out and told “Um, you need to tell us over the phone if you have a discount so you need to turn around because we need to print a new label.” First off, I don’t recall EVER having to say that I have a discount card over the phone because should’ve already been applied. This could’ve been prevented if they started off the call on a good note, I don’t know what goes on in their personal lives but don’t bring it to work? The cashier was super kind in the beginning & the other two’s attitude spread to him. He did hold himself accountable at the end, but the other two need to quit if they can’t do the bare minimum of their job.
