I go to Goodwills all over, mainly though in the Greater Richmond area. This store is not in that area and it's also nothing like any Goodwill I am use to going to. It's not only the worst Goodwill I've ever been in , it's also one of the worst thrift stores I've ever been in. I go for the household stuff and my friend goes for the clothes. Both selections were so poor it wasn't worth it to walk in the door. They have a tiny fraction of the stuff other Goodwills have and it was all junk. It's an overall very small Goodwill. They were selling new bags of candy for $1.99 or 2 for $3.50 that are $1.25 in the dollar stores nearby. This store has a low rating and it deserves it. I would not bother visiting it again.

It's a clean store, however the changing rooms are permanently closed and they will not open them, even when you ask. I came ready to spend money and ended up leaving two baskets of clothes behind because I do not purchase items that I don't first try on. Very disappointed

Horrible customer service. Some people I guess just do not have integrity for their job!

Prices are way too high and selling items that aren't thrift. Doesn't seem like a thrift store anymore. I hear complaints even as I'm in the store. Seems like a lot of people feel the same.

Not even worth going in there. Shelves usually only have school supplies, some frames, cheap looking stuff. No quality furniture or home goods or ANYTHING like before. Bins are all thrown together with sheets, towels, rugs. Not in any way sorted at all.Dont waste your time. Go the distance and go somewhere else.

When there is more product in the back then on the shelves it's disappointing. Its disappointing to see such a disorganized stockroom, I encourage you to keep the stockroom doors shut, to see how donated items of loved ones are treated is discouraging to donate. The pricing on homegoods were up and down the chart and did not reflect donated items in many cases.

This Goodwill has suffered the same fate that falls upon most Goodwills: it has become a giant used clothing store. I guess it can't be helped when the only thing people donate are clothes. I just wish they would pull a better selection from another Goodwill.EDIT, one year later: yeah, go ahead and mark this Goodwill off of your thrift shopping list, this Goodwill has no game. I've gone here twice a month for the past three months straight and they still (somehow) have mostly the same stock in their store, they just kind of shuffle it around a little bit to make you think that it's changing. Changing my rating from three stars to one star because they never change their stock and the stock they do have is consistently uninteresting. Well, the stock that isn't clothes anyway, due to the store being about 3/4 nothing but clothes.

This Memorial Day I made clothing and shoes donations and a purchase at our local Goodwill store in Farmville. The young man in the back of store was very friendly and helpful with accepting and sorting the donations. Also, the young lady at the register was very friendly and helpful with ringing up my purchase of cruelty free (no animal testing) soaps produced in Australia. It’s amazing how Goodwill helps people and our environment. It also feels good to be giving back to our community!

This Goodwill was the most pitiful I have been to more like a bad yard sale. There was basically nothing in a Goodwill in a town with multiple larger universities and business' somebody needs to do better.
