Stunning hotel appointed with quality design and fittings. Dog beds for your dogs use. Beautiful rooms - even the smallest room is amazing. The hotel was fully booked but it didn't feel packed so the design worked.I wish more places understood how to make a guest feel welcomed like the staff at the Weyanoke does.

Can't wait to come back to the Hotel Weyanoke! A beautiful and spacious room, friendly and attentive staff, and a great restaurant (Effingham's). This was our first but definitely not our last stay at the Hotel Weyanoke.

Beautiful, clean, and very elegant. But ALSO comforting like a cozy apartment. The decor was amazing and up to date with times. Shower was like a fifty shades of grey feel! The balcony was amazing. All things were good, nothing bad to say. Even the price was

I stayed at your fabulous hotel this past Friday night and it was perfect! From the moment I walked in I was treated so well. Front desk was easy and the decor in the lobby is gorgeous. I had a room with a king bed and balcony and it was so perfect! I sat on the balcony and worked on my computer...The bed was super comfy and I loved having the robes! The shower and showerhead are the best and I love the bath products you offer!!!Food & drinks: I loved the restaurant in the lower level! The bartender was so awesome and she remembered me from the last time I stayed with you!

Fantastic hotel, vibe, staff and location. This historic hotel is literally across the street from the college. You can walk to almost anything.Rooms: We had a junior suite which was spacious, nicely appointed, and modern vibe and yet comfortable. Bathroom and shower was beautiful.

The hotel was beautiful, and our room was clean, comfortable and stylish. They only thing I have to say negatively is the breakfast was more motel quality than 5 star hotel quality. I was pretty surprised at its lackluster options. All in all though, it was a tiny blemish on an otherwise fantastic experience.

The room was small but delightful. Well furnished and the bed was very comfy! The restaurant was great for dinner, but not good for breakfast. Staff was nice. Great location.

A true gem in Farmville. Spacious rooms. Again, spacious rooms compared to chain hotels. Massive bathrooms. Easy check in and check out. Great location for local dining. Breakfast is downstairs at the taproom. (Free) bagels, fruit, cereal, muffins, coffee, juice. Have stayed multiple times and will stay again.

This "boutique" hotel is now under new corporate management; there are additional "historic fees" as the bottom line is profit. Those seeking government rates are relegated to rooms with no desks or adequate work areas in the antiquated "historic" section of the hotel. The rooms in this section are run down and small. But, regardless of capacity, that is rule. While the front desk is apologetic, this is a sea change in policy so better for those travelling for business purposes to consider the other very acceptable choices right near by such as Tru or the lovely Hampton Inn. There is no business center to compensate and no gym. Hotel Weyanoke parking is extremely inconvenient, located at a distance from the hotel. There are definite parking challlenges between stairs and distance that impact convenience and affect those with any special needs such as aging or children (or even having luggage!) so you defintely sacrifice convenience. The one lane drop off driveway, unautomated main entrance door and multiple flights of stairs are all challenges. The Hotel is old and has notable wear and tear and uneven cleanliness. It is also adjacent to a club with live music that can be loud in the evenings. The hotel's novelty wears off quickly in light of all these issues.

The breakfast was less than desirable. With such a reputation and on the higher end, they should have a hot breakfast?

Great boutique hotel with lots of character. We loved the location as it is walking distance to Green Front and Longwood University. The food and staff were excellent . Highly recommend it.

I just spent the night at this charming boutique hotel. I stayed in the Cumberland wing and love the decor, the very upscale bathroom, and amenities. The food is terrific and the location is perfect if you are visting Farmville for Green Front or one of the colleges. Perfect!

Great little spot! You can feel the age of the building, but it’s comfortable and quaint. I tried to contact them twice regarding a booking on their website after receiving no confirmation and never got a response. Since I didn’t think it processed I booked through a third party app. When I arrived I had two rooms booked, which they corrected. A bit frustrating but it worked out.
