I stopped in this Citgo while passing through. My first impression was that the area around the pumps were very dirty. Not covered with trash, but just needed a good power wash. But I overlooked all of that because I only wanted to top off the tank and clean the windshield. And to be honest, it really was irrelevant to the situation.I almost always pay at the pump with a credit card to save time and trips into any store gas stations may have. The pump I was using (which was #3) closest to the store, said pay at the pump or lift the lever and pay inside. But I still preferred the pay at the pump and be on my way option.But the pump at this Citgo would not allow me to pay at the pump. It only would say something like, "see the attendant". So I tried another card, same problem. So I tried to use the lift the lever and pay inside option as it says on the pump. No that won't work either.So I go inside (which I always try to avoid by paying at the pump). Right off the bat, it seemed like we had a hard time communicating with each other.(I'll leave it at that) I thought the gentleman at the counter, turned the pump on. But he did not. So I had to go back inside again. I then figured out that he wanted payment first and he would then allow that amount (pay before you pump). But the pump said, lift lever then pay inside?Because I always fill my tank, I now have to pay first and go back inside for the change. So I pay with the same credit card that will not work at the pump. So I have to ask, Why is that? The attendant then allows the pump to operate.While the gas is pumping, I will now clean my windshield. But then I find out there is no cleaning fluid in the only cleaning station. Just a dry cleaning squeegee. So I don't get to wash the windshield either. But that I guess wasn't quite so bad because:Now the pump keeps shutting off and I had to pump it very slow to keep it working. When finished I now have to go inside yet again for my change. But then he tells me that the balance will be credited to my credit card. But he did give me a receipt with the proper amount of the sale.Needless to say, I was not impressed with this Citgo. Maybe the Subway makes the place better. But the inside of the store didn't seem all that great either. But to be fair to the folks who run it, I wasn't looking close and my mind was elsewhere. So it might be much better inside than I may lead you to believe. But if the pumps were any indication, I'll trust my quick perception of the inside.

Stop in here from time to time as this station comes up on my list for gas buddy. Nothing fancy here, but it has everything I need, including a subway.

All I needed was a 50 dollar bill broke.But the older gentleman whom was behind the counter, was extremely polite and had a sense of humor which is always a good quality to have,especially when working with the public! The store appeared clean and orderly as did the outside, parking lot and pump area.The only negative was there was no window washer solution or paper towels at the pumps.I still have a dirty, doggy slobbered up,passenger window!?
